I had picked this shampoo a long time ago and while I got busy using the other ones, I completely forgot about this. Recently I saw this lying on my shelf while decluttering and decided to use it. One of the reasons I had picked this one was because it is an everyday shampoo. Read on to know more on Palmolive Naturals Everyday Shampoo with Chamomile Extract.

My Experience with Palmolive Naturals Everyday Shampoo with Chamomile Extract:

The shampoo comes in a sleek yellow colored plastic bottle with an orange brown flip cap. The cap closes with a click and there is no leakage. The bottle is bulkier to carry during travelling days. There is a lot of information on the back of the bottle regarding this shampoo. The shampoo is suitable for normal hair and is claimed that it can be used everyday. However, shampooing everyday is not good and I use it every alternate days when I don’t need maintenance.

The shampoo is creamy and light yellow in color. It smells very pleasant, floral and smells like Chamomile. It feels very much like chamomile tea. The fragrance is sweet, but it hardly stays. The shampoo has a runny texture and it feels very light. The hole of the bottle is pretty big and you will end up taking more than needed, so care must be taken to use it sparingly.

The shampoo lathers very well and thoroughly cleanses the hair with just a pea-sized shampoo quantity. When oil is applied, I use a little more. I do not have to use the shampoo twice and it completely cleanses any dirt, oil or grime present in the hair. The product does make the hair a little soft, but not like if you use a conditioner. The product is suitable for normal hair and if you need special care like nourishment or care, you need to use a good conditioner or another shampoo. The shampoo doesn’t provide any care or moisturization. It is just an everyday shampoo that cleanses the hair.

The shampoo does make my scalp a bit dry too. I usually use some argan oil on the scalp to keep it moisturized. Since I have had issues with dandruff previously, I am a bit scared to use this one as there are chances that it would cause it again. The shampoo does not make the scalp oily for around 2 days. For me, this shampoo has more negatives than positives. I have dry ends that are prone to splits and have a history of bad dandruff. This product dries my scalp and I would recommend it to someone who has amazing hair and no problems at all. Maybe some men could find this shampoo useful. This is not for me and it is just another everyday cleansing shampoo.
