Cleansing is a very important part of skin care routine. I feel that an oil clear face wash is a must for in summers to control oiliness from the face. I picked up Pears Oil Clear Glow Ultra Mild Face Wash variant to gently clean my skin. My skin is in a delicate condition given the swimming sessions which are wreaking havoc. Being ‘ultra mild’, I feel it is a good face wash to use without overtly playing with your skin. Read on for details.

Packaging:
This face wash comes in a lightweight transparent tube where the green colour face wash gel is clearly visible. It has a user-friendly flip open cap and the tube contains all the necessary details. It is a travel-friendly packaging and can be easily carried about.

My Experience with Pears Oil Clear Glow Ultra Mild Face Wash:

As I mentioned, my sensitive skin is battling too many woes, right from oiliness to pool water-related skin troubles. Although I am relying on multani mitti (which works like magic), I got this mild face wash to gently clean my skin.

The smell is quite pleasant and refreshing and is quite like Pears soap. The texture is that of a viscous gel, which feels quite slippery. It lathers well, cleanses skin effectively and doesn’t rip off moisture. It takes extra effort to wash off the slimy layer, and get the squeaky-clean feeling. It does control oil for up to 5 hours, and my skin looks fresh.

However, there is no such noticeable glow, and I didn’t even expect any face wash to impart radiance to my skin. On the flipside, this product though feels mild, contains many chemicals. Sensitive skin like mine didn’t face breakout using this, but I would rather not repurchase it.

There is nothing extraordinary about this. It’s just an average face wash from a drugstore brand, which you wouldn’t regret skipping.
