My Experience with Philips Bikini Trimmer HP6383/20 BikiniGenie:
The main body of the trimmer is a bright purple colour with lilac and grey detailing along the sides. It has the brand name in silver printed over it. The trimmer is thin and long, making it easy to use. The front of the body is shiny, while the back has a matte finish. The body without any attachments has two parts, with one part containing the battery. On fixing the two parts together, the trimmer can be switched on with any attachment by simply twisting the two parts, so that it goes from 0 to 1. There is no switch specially provided for the turning it on. Similar to this, the attachments can be fixed at the top of the body by twisting it so that the arrow and line are aligned. Overall, the usage is pretty simple.
The trimmer comes with a single AA battery by Philips, as well as four attachments and a brush for cleaning. The trimming head allows for trimming the hair to a short length of 0.5 mm. The shaving head, on the other hand, ensures a clean shave. It can be used efficiently on hair that has already been trimmed neatly by the trimmer. The third and fourth attachment allow for trimming of hair to a slightly longer length of 4mm and 6mm respectively. Additionally, a small brush has been provided for cleaning out the attachments.
I prefer to use the trimmer head first, as it makes shaving easier. This attachment is easy and fast to use. For the whole bikini area, it takes about ten minutes. I have not experienced any cuts with this attachment, so it is extremely safe to use. For the shaving step, I like to hold the skin taut and then go over it with the shaver head. For a small area of skin, the shaver must be used multiple times to ensure that it is completely clean. It takes longer than the trimming step but gives results at the end.
It can be used over all over the bikini area without leaving cuts or bruises. It does not hurt, burn or irritate my skin at all. I have not used the other two attachments, as I prefer to use the close trim and shaver. The sound made by the trimmer is moderately loud. Unfortunately, it only has one speed. As for the duration between usages, I like to use this every 15 to 30 days or so. As it is not pulling hair from the roots, hair regrowth occurs like normal. I have not used this in the shower nor have I ever washed it with water, as I believe that might reduce the life of the product.
I like to wipe it clean with cleansing wipes dipped in Dettol as well as use the brush. I bought this in the beginning of the year, and it still works as well. Overall, I am highly satisfied with the product.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Philips Bikini Trimmer HP6383/20 BikiniGenie?
I would recommend this product for people who would like to opt for painless and easy hair removal. Patience is key with this product, especially if you are willing to use the shaving head additionally. I wouldn’t be repurchasing this soon, as I don’t feel the need to use it very often and hence it will last longer.
