Purederm Seaweed Essence Mask

I read a lot about Purederm products on IMBB and always wondered where they were available. A friend of mine took me along for some cosmetic shopping to one of her frequently visited shops. That’s where I noticed Purederm products. I couldn’t stop myself from doing a mini Purederm haul. This is the first mask that I used from the haul.

What the company claims about Purederm Seaweed Essence Mask:
Purederm Seaweed Essence Mask is a natural anti-inflammatory which makes it very effective at reducing swelling in troubled areas. It does this by soothing the irritated skin and eliminating bacteria that causes acne. Seaweed is also a natural exfoliator and prevents blemishes by removing dead skin cells, which can block pores.
• Easy & effective sheet type essence mask.

• 23ml/sheet
• Seaweed Extract contains sufficient natural mineral.
• Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate prevents skin trouble and making skin healthy.
• Vitamin E & Collagen: increasing skin elasticity & brightening.

My experience with Purederm Seaweed Essence Mask:

The mask comes in a thick plastic packing. I quite like the packing and the colour combination of white and shades of bluish green that they have used. The bag is tightly sealed to prevent the mask from drying. The material of the mask feels very soft on the skin.

Instructions to use the mask and the ingredients are mentioned at the back. This mask has a mild witch hazel fragrance which is calming. The mask is very wet to touch when removed from the bag. It needs to be unfolded before using it. The mask is round in shape with cut outs for eyes nose and mouth. It is small tabs at the edges so that the mask fits properly on the sides of the face. This mask was a little small for me. There was a gap of at least an inch between the mask edge and the ears. I cannot blame them. It could be because of my chubby cheeks 😛

I left the mask on for 20 mins as mentioned on the pack. It did not dry at all so it was not difficult to remove the mask. It did not dry out my skin at all. But what was amazing that it loosened out the black and white heads from my skin. They were so loose that I had to just wipe them off with a cotton ball and my skin was as clean as if I just had a face cleanup done professionally. The mask also soft also softened the skin which lasted for about 2 days

• Can be used on all skin types
• Effective for acne and pimples

Cons of Purederm Seaweed Essence Mask:

• Availability can be an issue
• Can be used only once
• Size of the mask was small for me
• Contains parabens

Yes. I will also try out other masks from Purederm but I really like this one.
Would I recommend Purederm Seaweed Essence Mask?

Yes its worth trying out atleast once.
