My Experience with Real Techniques 2 Miracle Mini Eraser Sponges:
I am 100% loyal to my Beauty Blender sponges, but sometimes, it doesn’t hurt to experiment just a little bit. When I saw these Real Techniques sponges at Ulta, I was very curious to see how they would perform especially since I have never used the original Real Techniques face sponge.
As you can tell, these are mini sponges and I love that you get 2 of them at this price. I have showed a comparison of it between Beauty Blender micro mini and the Beauty blusher (which I love to use with my concealer).
Compared to beauty blenders, this Real Techniques sponge feels quite dense and hard. I do find it to be a perfect size to use under my eyes, just like the beauty blusher and thankfully, it’s not as tiny as the Beauty Blender micro mini.
It does a decent job of blending out my concealer when wet and it doesn’t absorb as much product as my Beauty Blender does and applies liquid highlight impeccably.
Now the thing it excels at – baking, the flat cut on the other end of the sponge picks and packs loose powder starting right under the lower lash line and it performs this task best when dry. As far as the claims of it erasing your makeup mistakes is concerned, it does a good job at picking up eyeshadow fallout and cleaning smudges when you accidentally sneeze while applying mascara.
Overall, while I am not in love with this sponge as much as my Beauty Blender for concealer application because of its stiffness and density, they are still not bad, especially considering the fact that they are less than half the price of the Beauty Blender. I loooveee using this to bake and will always keep them in my vanity for that purpose. They are also easy to clean and I have been using them for 5-6 months now and they are still holding up great. Highly recommend.

Cons of Real Techniques 2 Miracle Mini Eraser Sponges:
