Recently when I purchased the Wonder wing eyeliner. I spotted this matte lip colour. I love matte lip colours over glossy and I loved the shade. I decided to pick this one and today’s review is all about Rimmel London Stay Matte Liquid Lip Color in the shade, Rose & Shine. Read on to know more:

My Experience with Rimmel London Stay Matte Liquid Lip Color 210 Rose & Shine:
The lip colour comes in a transparent plastic case with a curvy shaped screw cap. The product comes sealed at the cap which is a great plus. The name of the company is etched. You can see the shade through the transparent glass. There is some basic information on the product. The screw cap closes with a click and this way there is no chance of leakage or the lip gloss drying out. But, sometimes the wand can get a bit messy! The cap also houses the applicator wand. The product comes with a doe shaped sponge applicator. It is flat at the tip and picks up the gloss effectively. The pointy edges make it easy to apply at the corners of the mouth.
There are around 15 shades available in this range. However, in the Netherlands, there are only 6 available which is a bummer! Rose & shine is not a nude shade. It has a rose muted pink/purple or a lychee skin kind of the shade. I fell in love with it the first time I saw it! The formula of the product is neither too thin nor thin and it feels more like a mousse than a lip colour. The application is very easy. It smells a bit like chalk piece due to the presence of Calcium and mica. The colour is pretty pigmented and opaque. However, you need 2 sweeps to cover pigmented lips.
The lip colour takes around 30 seconds to dry and once it is completely dried there is zero transfer and it doesn’t smudge off with contact! There is no bleeding and it survives meals and drinks without any issues! The product is also waterproof and kissproof! Since it doesn’t stain the lips, the removal is also pretty easy. Simple micellar or a good remover is more than enough to get the colour off from the lips. The product has a matte finish and it completely dries on the lips. Which means that you need to use a good scrub and moisturize your lips before application. If not it does dry onto the cringes and the sight is very bad. The product has zero moisturizing properties and using one after the application is waste. The product lasts around 8 hours on my lips. It stays put for around 4 hours and then it starts peeling off from the edges so a reapplication is needed for me. You can see that in the swatch. However, I do not blame because I have pretty dry lips. The product is great and I am happy but, it does flake away due to the dryness of my lips. I wouldn’t repurchase this as I feel I need to invest a lot in caring my lips before application. So summing up
