Schwarzkopf Gliss Satin Smooth Express Repair Conditioner
I am going to review the very first hair spray that I have purchased. I wasn’t intending on buying a spray but we all know the weird ways in which our mind thinks “What if I need a hair spray?!!” “What if the world was to end today and I still haven’t used a hair spray?” I love over exaggerating as you can see!
Coming to the product, I am reviewing the Schwarzkopf Gliss Satin Smooth Express Repair Conditioner! (Leave in)
Is it just me or do these products from Schwarzkopf generally have such long names?
Price: Rs. 270 for 200 ML
Product Claims:
• Repairs inside hair cell.
• Taming and shine
• Immediate manageability and satin smoothness
• For unruly, dry hair.
• Anti-frizz
My experience with the Schwarzkopf Gliss Satin Smooth Express Repair Conditioner! (Leave in):
This leave in conditioner/spray comes in a long sturdy plastic bottle. Mind it the cap is too loose, so you can’t really travel with this in your bag, you’ll have to seal it with a tape or something similar.
Its fragrance is nice stays in hair for the entire day. The texture of the spray is like- when you mix conditioner with water. The spray being pink in color has a frothy whitish layer on top and below it is pink solution! One has to shake the bottle well before applying. You can spray on wet as well as dry hair. I found it better on dried hair.
On wet hair, hair tangles and becomes rough. Now the funny part is it still tames frizz, your hair will look in place but you’ll get the shock of your life when you touch it! So rough!
The texture is a little difficult to work with as it’s so watery and you wouldn’t know if you’ve missed a spot anywhere. You need to spray a lot to cover the entire surface, also spray away from roots. It tames hair well, your hair won’t be the smoothest or silkiest, but yes it will take care of the frizz and keep your hair in place. Also it will not weigh your hair down; it gives a little bit of a fuller look to your hair. This spray doesn’t have any sun protection formula. If you want to set those fly-aways this is a good option, I use it daily while tying a pony tail. It works well that way.
Well, I have tried the Organix hair serum with Argan oil and I can say it is 10X better than this.

Will I repurchase/recommend Schwarzkopf Gliss Satin Smooth Express Repair Conditioner?
No. Don’t buy this I’m sure there are so many other hairsprays that are better than this, also the end of the world is not anywhere near so take more time, think and then buy :/

Jomol, maybe you can try the ones from Johnson and Johnson. They should be gentle enough, I think.
Utkarsha, I’m not sure if I’ll buy this hair spray but I may try the serum from Organix once I finish the currr *specs* ent hair serums I have. 🙂
