We have so many types for eyeliners in the market now-a-days: liquid, gel, pencil, felt-tip and so on. I guess we all started with a liquid eyeliner which came with a thin brush. 😉 Well, it still remains my favorite. 😛 I am most comfortable using liquid eyeliners with a super-fine brush which allows me to create thin and thick lines alike. So, I was really excited to get my hands on this product. And did it fulfill my expectations? Let’s find out. 🙂

My Experience with Sephora Collection Long Lasting Eyeliner High Precision Brush:
The product has pretty sleek packing. On a glance, it looks quite big, but on a closer look, one would realize that the actual product comes in a small vial with a long cap. 😛 Yes, the cap is almost triple the size of the bottle and holds the brush. I like the long cap as it makes me hold the brush easily and gives a better grip. The cap screws up nicely and has traveled with me to Miami and back and is safe. 😛
The brush is very fine, one of the thinnest I have come across and gives you the precision to create the thinnest lines you can think of. 😉 It is very easy to create thick or thin lines or creating different looks. A little flick and it easily creates the beautiful winged look.
The consistency of the eyeliner is quite right. It is not dripping liquid nor it is so thick that one has to struggle to get a neat application. It glides on easily and creates smooth lines. I have this product for around 2 months now and have used it extensively and I am really happy to see that the consistency is still the same and the product has not dried out.
The color is true black. The finish is not matte nor glossy and is in between so the eyeliner does not look flat nor it garners unusual attention by shining with all the might. 😛 A single stroke gives opaque coverage and is good enough to go. However, I, somehow like to go over a couple of times.
Now, coming to the performance, it is superb; as if I needed more reasons to love it. 😉 I have tested it for more than 12 hours and at the end of it, it was still the way when I had freshly applied it. It dries quickly, so no risk of smearing. And once it dries, it will sit there till you ask it to go. 😛 On some days, my lids are very dry and become an oil well on some and it stayed put in both the cases. It did not transfer to my upper lid, nor it faded away. 😀
The eyeliner is water resistant, it will not come off with untimely tears 😛 but gets washed off with warm water and soap/cleanser making the removal easy. It also comes off easily with any eye makeup remover too.

Definitely yes! A black eyeliner is must-have in my kitty and this one is not going anywhere now. It is my HG eyeliner now. I totally love this product is the most used one nowadays since it can be applied quickly when I am in a rush and I know it will dry and will not smear. 🙂
