L’Oreal Paris Super Liner 24 Hour Waterproof Gel Eyeliner
After my stint with the Coastal Scents Gel Eye Liner, I wanted something that was of better quality and I didn’t feel like picking up/getting the most obvious option of Maybelline’s Gel Eyeliner. I had zeroed on Inglot and this L’Oreal one. Since there is no Inglot store in the vicinity of my house, I picked up this L’Oreal one and I am glad I did. Read on to know more about this gel liner.
Product Description:
The Super Liner Gel Eyeliner from L’Oreal which every woman would love to own. The gel eyeliner comes along with a special high precision applicator brush that helps to draw thick, sultry flicks with great ease. It also ensures a uniform application. It lets you create different shapes with ease and add dramatic effect to your eyes.
The intense carbon colour of the liner brings out a rich look. The liner dries without easily without smudging. It is also waterproof, sweat proof and is ideal for those girls who get teary eyed now and then. Unlike other long stay eye make ups, the gel liner can easily be removed with any eye make up remover. The product is ophthalmologically tested and is even safe for people with sensitive eyes.

Directions for Use:
- Dip your brush into the jar to select the right amount.
- Wipe off excess gel on a tissue if required.
- Use the high precision brush like a pencil to draw the line along your lash line.

The gel liner comes in cute, neat, compact, glass pot and a screw off black cap. It’s a very standard gel eyeliner packaging. It reminds me a lot of MAC Fluideline and Bobbi Brown gel liner.
The liner comes along with brush too. It’s not a regular angled brush, but does a pretty decent job at applying the gel liner.

What I Like about L’Oreal Paris Super Liner 24 Hour Waterproof Gel Eyeliner:
- The liner has soft, creamy formula and goes on smoothly on the eyelids and waterline too.
- It has a slight creamy/glossy finish, but no shimmer/glitter particles.
- I don’t have to wait for the liner to dry up/set like in the case of liquid liners, this gel liner sets instantly.
- The shade is a gorgeous dark/intense black.
- The liner does not fade, smudge, and flake off for a good 6-7 hours even without setting it with an eye shadow.
- The liner is absolutely waterproof. It comes off only with an eye makeup remover.
- I use it on my water line too and never had any eye irritation, redness or itching.
- Great staying power. When used over an eye primer, it stays intact for at least 8 hours after which it starts to fade lightly.
- Cute, convenient-to-use packaging.
- Comes with a decent quality usable brush.
- Easily available across L’Oreal counters in India
What I Do Not Like about L’Oreal Paris Super Liner 24 Hour Waterproof Gel Eyeliner:
- It is available in just two shades, I wish L’Oreal gave us more shade options.
- Slightly overpriced.
- Contains parabens.
Overall, I like this gel eyeliner from L’Oreal a lot and I hope it does not dry up soon. I haven’t used other gel liners like from Maybelline or Inglot, so can’t compare and tell you which one of these would be the best to choose, but if you opt for this L’Oreal one, I am sure you won’t be disappointed. Just for information, this particular gel liner is available across counters only in India and other Asian Countries.

you know sanjeev and mere dating days mein i once convinced S that we will go to see republic day parade. So both of us got ready morning morning. S had arranged for tickets in black.. you know how dating days are. 😛 But since i was in hostel and sanjeev at his home, we needed our phones to interact. Tickets par it was mentioned ” no phone allowed” But we thought India mein toh sab chalta hai so anyway we took our phone. So we had to walk a long distance coz vehicles were not allowed beyond a point. So we walked 2 kms atleast to reach the parade ground. Uske baad checking time par they did not let us in coz we were carrying the phone. :waaa: Full popat :headbang: So we walked 2 kms back without watching the parade. 😐 Ab toh life bhar i wont be able to see the parade. I hope my bachha log pester sanjeev one day for the 26th jan parade. :dumb:

nice one Nupur…I am using Maybelline studio lasting drama gel eye liner. Its also gud..staying power is also good. I haven’t used loreal..Will try next time. :haanji:
