My Experience with Shiseido Benefiance Pure Retinol Intensive Revitalizing Face Mask:
I have used face masks by Lancome, Laneige, Glow Recipe and recently by Dr Jart. They all have their pros and cons. This is the first time I tried a face mask from the brand Shiseido and I really enjoyed it or rather my skin really enjoyed it. I enjoy skincare products from this brand and so decided to add a mask from this brand as well.
The product comes in a cardboard packaging which contains 4 sheet masks. The mask comes in a sheet mask form but is drenched with the mask solution so much so that excess product was accumulated in the packet which I applied all over my neck and arms as well. It is a concentrated face treatment sheet mask that encourages skin’s natural recovery function and infuses skin with hydrating moisture to help improve texture. Apparently, it delivers youthful suppleness and radiance is dramatically improved with a single application. With Pure Liquid Retinol Delivery system to help combat wrinkles, dryness, and dullness.
This product contains Hydroxyproline, a high-technology amino acid that helps improve the appearance of firmness. It also contains Hydroxyproline (a high-technology amino acid) helps improve the appearance of firmness. This mask is meant for those who suffer from dry skin and want to combat signs of aging and reduce appearance of wrinkles. It is perfect to smooth out skin texture and mend dry skin issues such as lines and large pores.
I used this mask as part of Korean ten-step skincare routine and applied it on my face after toner and lotion. It was easy to spread on my face and I let the mask sit on my face for at least half an hour. The product didn’t dry down or evaporate during that duration and left a layer of moisture on my face. I use sheet masks as part of my night time skincare routine and this mask left its impact on my face that lasted the entire night till I washed my face in the morning.
I prefer sheet masks on days that I feel lazy. I just have to slap on the face mask before bed and wake up to soft and supple skin. This mask is meant to tighten skin and reduce the appearance of pores. It contains potent ingredients to reduce wrinkles and fine lines.
After I removed the mask, I massaged the left-over solution on my face and when I wake up in the morning, I felt that my skin was taken care of, it felt softer, more hydrated. After prolonged use, I found that it does help check my laugh lines and pores. I do not make a visible change to complexion of my face but does improve textural properties. This product, however, is way overpriced. I still do not make the kind of money that justifies spending #66 on face masks. I suggest looking for equally potent yet more affordable options.

I recommend this product to those who love the concept of sheet masks and generally enjoy waking up to soft skin with just one product application. It is a fast-acting, potent formula but is way too expensive for my humble pocket so I seek more affordable options.
