Hope you all are doing well. This review will be on another Sisley Paris product. I picked up a few of their items in my recent haul. Though the price of the products from this brand is jaw-dropping expensive, I am pleased to say the product did work amazingly for my skin. This review will be on Sisley ‘Radiant Glow’ Express Mask.
This incredibly gentle and super-absorbent mask provides spectacular results. Skin is clean and fresh. Softness and radiance are instantly restored. The supple, pearly and non-drying formula was designed to not leave the skin feeling tight. White and red clays are enriched with moisture-binding vegetable glycerin, carrot extract and chamomile. It purifies, restores, tones and boosts radiance using an anti free-radical action.
How To Use:
Apply a thick layer of Radiant Glow Express Mask to perfectly cleansed face and throat; avoid the eye contour area. Leave on for three to five minutes, then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and complete with the lotion best suited to your skin type. Use two or three times a week. For best results, use regularly together with Express Flower Gel for a true peach-skin complexion and cleaner, firmer, more toned skin.
My Experience with Sisley Radiant Glow Express Mask:
I have dry and dull skin hence I am always on the lookout for something “radiance” imparting. Also, I have had good experience with kaolin clay products in the past like the ones from The Body shop. I find Kaolin clay to work really well for my skin as it is deep cleansing enough without being overly drying. Reading the description of this product really tempted me to get this as it was everything I was looking for.
Packaging: Comes in a simple squeeze tube. Super convenient to use and travel friendly, but it does not impart the look of a luxury product.
Texture/Consistency: This mask is very thick, but it spreads effortlessly and evenly. It does not feel sticky or heavy. Though this mask has a peachy hue in a cream form, once it is applied on the skin, it is basically translucent. It is suggested to keep this on the skin for 3-5 minutes, but I do keep it for 7-8 minutes for it to get enough time to work. While this mask is on my skin, I do feel a bit of tingling initially, but nothing bothersome. This mask does not feel very tight as it dries completely which is a good quality for my dry skin.
Post application and washing, my skin immediately feels so soft, smooth and plump. I do notice some radiance which is just the temporary brightness and whiteness imparted by the kaolin but it is very subtle, not very notable. The “radiance” lingers for 1-2 days. My skin feels super clean with no hint of dryness. It does clean your skin of surface impurities, but it will not deep clean, hence my pores, blackheads, pimples remain unchanged. At most, it does calm down any irritation of my skin.
This mask feels very luxurious and has a very nice floral scent which gives you a spa-like experience. I do love to use this mask before any special occasion as it makes my skin feel really good and makes my makeup glide on and look better.
Overall, yes, this is a great product and it does all that it claims. Though the price is tag is on the higher end and the list of benefits isn’t that long either, but it is a good investment if you love some pampering for your skin. I will recommend this.
