My Experience with St. Ives Oatmeal and Shea Butter Body Wash:

St. Ives Oatmeal and Shea Butter Body Wash Review Packaging

Packaging: St. Ives has a standard packaging. As the case is, this comes in a semi-transparent bottle. The bottle is white in color. The front and back have stickers that display the name, picture of the product and the ingredients at the back. It has a simple and attractive packaging. I personally love transparent bottles, since you know how much quantity has been used. One thing what I noticed is if the bottle is kept idle, the liquid settles and you can see a layer of the transparent gel on top and the creamy wash down below. It has a flip open cap. The best part about these kinds of caps is that they let you control the amount of wash you want to use. The cap is tightly sealed, so the body wash doesn’t leak or drip. I was really amazed to see the travel-size bottle and hence picked it.

I always prefer body washes to soaps. I have extremely dry and sensitive skin and I try to use creamy washes which help combat that. This body wash has natural extracts of oatmeal, shea butter, and glycerin. Oatmeal contains saponins which gently remove dirt and oil from pores without stripping skin of essential moisture. It’s natural and anti-itch properties calm the irritated skin while glycerine helps in providing nourishment to the skin and protects it. It also has shea butter which is known to be rich in Vitamins A, E, and F, which helps in maintaining a healthy moisture balance in the skin.

This wash is a beige and slightly runny liquid, and it foams well. It works well with the loofah. If you try using it with fingers, it doesn’t lather much and gives you a sticky feeling (like any other shower wash). Once rinsed, it gives you a clean and fresh feeling. A little amount is good enough and this will last you very long.

St. Ives Oatmeal and Shea Butter Body Wash Review Separated

Since this is made with natural ingredients, it really pampers the skin and leaves your skin soft, supple and moisturized. There are times when some of the body washes have left me dry, but this one helps in cleaning without stripping skin of its required moisture. This has also helped me with my tanning. I tried in on my feet and it looked radiant after about two washes. It also helped soothe my dry skin to a great extent and the effect remains for a good time. There are days when I skip my body lotion and still, my skin feels soft and moisturized.
