St Ives Purifying Sea Salt Exfoliating Body Wash Review
I absolutely love using body washes in shower; the loofah and the fragrance of the body wash make the shower experience a bit luxurious. This time, I decided to try an exfoliating body wash from St. Ives, so here’s the review. Let’s evaluate St Ives Purifying Sea Salt Exfoliating Body Wash’s performance.
Smooth and renew your skin’s surface to reveal healthier looking skin with the 100% natural – exfoliants in Purifying Sea Salt Body Wash. This refreshing body wash works to brighten dull skin while also hydrating. Containing mineral salt and Pacific sea kelp, which are known to supply skin with vitamins and anti-oxidants, the Purify formula invigorates tired, sluggish skin. Complete your exfoliating routine after you shower with one of our perfectly formulated St. Ives Lotions.
- 100% natural exfoliant.
- Paraben free.
- Dermatologist tested.
Sea Kelp, Mineral Salt.
The price varies between $3-$4. I got this 400 ml bottle for $3.8
Water (Aqua), Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Pumice, Acrylates Copolymer, Sodium Chloride, Cocamide MEA, Sea Salt, Macrocystis Pyrifera (Kelp) Extract, Fragrance (Parfum), Glycerin, Citric Acid, Tetrasodium EDTA, PPG-9, DMDM Hydantoin, Propylene Glycol, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Yellow 5 (CI 19140).
Directions For Use:
Pour into moistened poof, sponge, washcloth or hands. Work into a rich, creamy lather and rinse. Avoid contact with eyes.
The body wash comes in a big, white and flip open bottle. This is the only available size with St Ives body washes. Since the bottle is sturdy, you can carry it while travelling, but the size might make it inconvenient. The packaging doesn’t looks cheap. The flip open cap makes it easy to use in shower.
My Experience with St Ives Purifying Sea Salt Exfoliating Body Wash:
The color of the body wash is creamy white with very gentle and tiny exfoliants. The consistency is thick and a little goes a long way with a pouf/loofah because the product lathers very richly. However, slightly more quantity is required if you skip loofah and use hands for lathering the body wash. It rinses off easily and leaves a subtle pleasant fragrance behind, which does not last for long.
I am overall very happy with the quality and quantity of the body wash. It has tiny gentle granules in it, which are extracted from natural ingredients. The exfoliating granules are not at all harsh; they scrub the skin gently and make their presence felt without being harsh on skin. The final result after using this body wash is clean, supple and refreshed skin. This body wash is free of parabens and manufactured with natural ingredients, it gives the consumer the satisfaction that the product doesn’t contain any avoidable chemicals.
