Today, I am reviewing Stila Convertible Colour in Lillium. It is a two-in-one product, blush cum lip colour. Lillium is a creamy nude pink shade. I have always used powder blushes, this is my first cream blush. To know more, please continue to read.

How to Apply:
• Cheeks: Press your ring finger into cream and gently rub against thumb to warm up the colour, then tap colour on cheeks, blending outward and upward OR Use stila brush #33 or a firm blush brush and apply very light strokes to achieve a flawless airbrushed effect.
• Lips: Apply with fingertips or Stila Lush Lip Brush.

Packaging:
Stila convertible colour in lillium comes packaged in a peachy pink coloured cute plastic compact with a mirror, which is packaged in a biscuit coloured cardboard box. A floral design and Stila Convertible Colour both are inscribed on the lid and the shade details are mentioned on the reverse. The compact closes firmly and is travel friendly.

My Experience with Stila Lillium Convertible Color:

This is my first cream blush. I was planning to pick up a cream blush from Jane Iredale, but was hesitant. Then, I got an opportunity to try Stila cream blush cum lip colour in shade Lillium. It is a creamy peachy pink, which gives a shiny peachy pink coloured glow to the cheeks and a bare look to the lips. Easy to apply and blend. Intensity is buildable. Lillium shade suits my cheeks, but appears very bare on the lips, could be used as a base for the lips. I like and prefer it as a blush rather than a lip colour.

It gives an opaque finish to my pigmented lips, but a complete no makeup bare look to my lips. I also tried using it as a highlighter in the inner corner of the eyes, but gives a burning sensation to my eyes. In my opinion, this blush could be used to highlight specific areas of the face. Lasting power could be anywhere between four to six hours not more, after which vanishes. This shade is mildly pigmented.

On my moderately fair skin with warm undertones, two swipes are needed to show the colour on the cheeks. I prefer using my fore finger, to apply this blush. I am hesitant to use a brush. I swipe my fore finger across the blush and gently pat it on my cheeks and lips, and then blend or reapply to get the desired effect. It feels smooth when I apply it. Its mild, creamy texture feels light on the skin, not thick or heavy.

It does not irritate or dry out my skin on the cheeks, however tends to make my lips dry. I was afraid to try cream blushes for my combination skin, but this one has caused no break outs. This shade can be used throughout the year as it gives a natural shiny peachy pink glow to the cheeks. It has a peculiar taste, when applied on my lips, it does not appeal my taste bud. I would only use it as a blush and not a lip colour.
