Today, I am going to share my views on Sugar Cosmetics Tip Tac Toe Nail Lacquer in the shades 63 Mint Money (Classic)”, 16 Coral Compass (Classic), 24 Bird’s Eye Blue (Classic), 60 Cherry Christmas (Pro) and 19 Rambling Rose (Pro). My Experience with Sugar Cosmetics Tip Tac Toe Nail Lacquer 63 Mint Money (Classic), 16 Coral Compass (Classic), 24 Bird’s Eye Blue (Classic), 60 Cherry Christmas (Pro) and 19 Rambling Rose (Pro):
The nail paints come in signature quirky print Sugar Cosmetics packaging. The blue carton bears some necessary details on it. The actual nail paint comes in a square shaped standard glass bottle packaging. These bottles are see-through type and have black colored caps. The cap has the brand’s tagline printed on it. There is a sticker on the bottom of each shade bearing the shade number and name. There is a good quality applicator attached with the cap. The length of the applicator wand is just right to work with. It picks up enough amount of the product required for one use. It brush spreads easily and covers the entire nail in one go but if you have smaller nails it may create the mess on the surrounding skin. The packaging is nice, leak-proof and travel-friendly. The see through bottle helps to see the shades from outside only. Now, let’s discuss about each shade one by one.
63 Mint Money (Classic): It is a beautiful pastel green shade, which is a part of their newly launched candyland collection. This shade is just stunning for summers. I love this color for everyday use. It is flattering for fair to medium skin tones. I am in love with color, pigmentation and finish of this nail paint.
The formula is decently pigmented, but I had faced a little streaking issue with this shade on applying one coat. This can be managed upon layering the second coat. The finish is smooth and glossy. It is devoid of any sheen or shimmers.
16 Coral Compass (Classic): This is another stunning summery shade. This is a light coral orange shade. It does not have strong coral hue and looks subtle. So, it is pretty wearable on everyday basis. This shade gives nice summery vibes. I am not a fan of orange nail paints but I like this shade pretty much.
There are no shimmers in this nail paint. It sets nicely to a soft glossy finish. It has good pigmentation. Just one swipe is good enough to give rich opaque finish. I apply a second coat for smooth application and rich color.
24 Bird’s Eye Blue (Classic): This is a beautiful pastel blue shade, perfect for the summers. I love this shade and like wearing it quite often. This shade is apt for fair to medium skin tones. It might look too milky on deeper complexions.
The shade is subtle and does not catch attention. It has a regular glossy sheen without any shimmers or glitters. The nail paint is decently pigmented and helps to achieve rich color in just two swipes.
60 Cherry Christmas (Pro): It is very beautiful crimson red color. It is loaded with glitters, which mixes with the color and gives it a nice gritty kind of texture. The gritty appearance is quite different and definitely looks rocking. This is not an everyday color but it is certainly a perfect party shade. It brightens up the skin and looks so pretty.
The finish is neither too glossy nor perfectly matte. It is somewhere in the middle or we may call it semi-matte kind of finish. The pigmentation is decent. It gives rich color in one swipe. Two swipes are good enough to deliver perfect color to the nails.
19 Rambling Rose (Pro): It is my favorite from their Pro range. This is a prettiest glittery rose gold nail paint I have come across so far. It has that perfect pinkish hue. I personally loved it. It is also loaded with glitters, which mixes with the color and gives it a nice gritty kind of texture. Also, this shade has slightly bigger silver glitters as well, which are easily noticeable and adds nice 3D effect to the nail paint.
The gritty appearance is quite different. Though, the shade is subtle but it has that bling which might make it unfit for everyday use. But, it is stunning for parties and weddings. The finish is neither too glossy nor perfectly matte. It is somewhere in the middle or we may call it semi-matte kind of finish. The pigmentation is decent. It gives rich color in one swipe. Two swipes are good enough to deliver perfect color to the nails.
The texture of the nail paint is nice. The smooth consistency makes the nail paints glide effortlessly on the nails. The consistency is neither too thick nor runny in case of the Classic ones while the nail paints from their Pro collection have slightly thicker formula due to the presence of glitters in it. But, still it glides smoothly on the nails spreading the color evenly all over it. The nail paint dries pretty quickly in a few seconds. It stayed nicely on nails for some 6-7 days. In the mean time, it looses intensity of its glossy sheen. But, there are no major chipping issues. The shades in the classic range are pretty easy to wipe off with the nail paint removers wipes. On the other hand, the glittery ones from the Pro range requires a little effort to come out completely. Overall, I really love these nail paints by Sugar. This is probably one of my favorite nail paint brand so far. These nail paints are free from harmful chemicals. So, they do not cause any harm to the nails.
