For the entire last week, I was down with cold and fever. I couldn’t get onto anything with full enthusiasm. Today, again my mom is sick and I had to take chutti and baby sit 😛 Just to perk up my mood, I wrote up this DIY article. This time, it’s a simple face/body scrub. I am back with a do-it-yourself face/body scrub. This is such an easy and quick DIY recipe that anyone would love.
When it comes to scrubs, the frequently used variants would be oats, apricots, almonds, papaya, and a few other ingredients would be added to make a healthy scrub. Here, I present a scrub which you can do and use in a minute with very less ingredients and very little effort, like the “2 minutes Maggi.” 😛 When I don’t have time to make my own version of papaya oats scrub (which I have shared here), this is what I do instantly with my kitchen ingredients.
So, let’s get started:
Things you need:
- Half sliced tomato. Take a bigger one. Do not chop. Just slice into hemispheres.
- 2-3 spoons of sugar.
Simple, isn’t it?
Now, dip the hemispherical tomato in the bowl containing sugar. The sugar particles would stick on to the tomato and there you go. Scrub for 2-3 minutes. Rub it in gentle circular motions and wash off with lukewarm water, easy peasy!!
You may use it as a body scrub as well, simple yet effective. The sugar particles are good exfoliators. They are mild as well and tomatoes are full of nutrients to nourish your skin for a healthy glow.
Tomatoes are helpful in reducing wrinkles due to ageing. Regular usage of tomatoes for facial scrub/mask will help in improving your skin texture. Note for sensitive skinned beauties :May cause tingling effect on your skin.
