I went to The Body Shop to buy one of my favorite body butters but ended up browsing their aisles since the cashier was taking too long. I ended up in the lipstick section and this lipstick caught my attention. There are around ten shades in this range but I decided to buy this lipstick just by looking at the bright color. So, here I am with the review of The Body Shop Color Crush Shine Lipstick in the shade 15 Fuchsia Flirt. Read on to know more about it.

My Experience with The Body Shop 15 Fuchsia Flirt Color Crush Shine Lipstick:
Packaging:
This lipstick comes in a silver metallic packaging. The cap is transparent with the brand name printed over it. The base of the lipstick has a color-coded sticker which provides some more information about the product.
Texture:
I tried a hand swatch of this lipstick but it didn’t turn out to be very helpful. I, then, tried it on my lips but still could not be too sure about it. I am not a big fan of glossy and shiny lipsticks since matte is my thing. But still, I bought this because the shade is just lovely. So, this lipstick has a glossy and creamy formula. It glides easily on the lips. I often use it to moisturise my lips and this lipstick makes my lips feel soft and healthy.
Shade:
Fuchsia Flirt is a cute, bright pink shade. It is almost like a bubblegum pink shade. It looks well with casuals but I don’t like how it looks with ethnic wear. This shade does give a bright, chirpy and summer look to my face. This shade is best suited for fair to medium skin tones. It would not suit darker skin tones at all. Also, this shade kind of makes my teeth appear yellow.
Smell:
I like the smell of this lipstick. It is fruity, to be precise.
Staying Power:
The staying power is quite average of this lipstick. It does not last very long on the lips and cannot survive meals. But that’s okay with me since TBS never claimed a long staying power, anyway.
Conclusion:
I would not really recommend it to all complexions. This shade would flatter only fair skin tone; it doesn’t look very flattering even on medium skin tones. It can even make your lips appear yellow. You might check out other shades if you like the formula, though.

• Pricey, I’d say
• Personally, I am not a fan of such shiny lipsticks
• This shade won’t suit dark complexion
• In fact, it makes you look darker
• Average staying power

No. I’d rather buy a tinted lip balm for some 300 rupees.
