Lip Care : The Body Shop Cranberry Joy Lip Balm

Hope you all are doing fantastic… Today I am going to review about The Body Shop Cranberry Joy Lip Balm.
Some two months back I went to “The Body Shop” in Deria city center. I was looking around for some good products. The sales girl in the counter helped me a lot to get the right products. She was such a sweet girl. Then I picked some skin care products and lip balms. Now let’s go into “The body shop cranberry joy lip balm”. Later I will go into skin care products.
Product claims:
This non-sticky balm quickly hydrates lips and has a fresh berry scent.
• Instant hydration
• Non-sticky
• No parabens
Packaging:
Packaging is so similar to neither all the lip balms in the body shop nor any other brands. I am not a fan of tin containers in lip products though. I always prefer those on tubes, so you don’t want to swipe your fingers. Just for sanity purpose and not to get messy. But it’s cute with its red tin with some joy and plant leaves cryptograms around the top cap. It has The body shop trademark name in it.
Available flavors and shades:
Its available in almost all of juicy fruity flavors like strawberry, watermelon, raspberry, mango, pink guava, passion berry, sweet lemon and grape fruit. I hope all sounds, tastes and smell good.
Ingredients:
Ricinus Communis Seed Oil (Emollient), Polyglyceryl-3 Beeswax (Emulsifier), Lanolin (Emollient), Aroma (Flavour), Cera Alba (Emulsifier/Emollient), Hydrogenated Castor Oil (Emollient), Silica (Absorbent), Mica (Opacifier), Tocopheryl Acetate (Antioxidant), Vaccinium Macrocarpon Seed Oil (Skin-Conditioning Agent), Ammonium Glycyrrhizate (Flavour), Tocopherol (Antioxidant), Linalool (Fragrance Ingredient), Rosmarinus Officinalis Leaf Extract (Natural Additive), CI 77891 (Color), CI 15850 (Color).
Availability and price of The body shop cranberry joy lip balm:
It’s easily available at all “The body shops” across UAE. It’s about 15ml tin. Cost around 25 – 35 AED. I am not sure about the exact value, because I got this balm 2 months back.

My thoughts about The body shop cranberry joy lip balm:
When I first opened the tin, I was welcomed by the usual waxy surface that’s quite typical of The Body Shop lip balms. Main beauty about the body shop is, they capture the exact smell of cranberries. The lip balm looks hard but soon softens up when you touch or swatch the lip balm. It gives soft, glossy and tinny bit of shinny finish. If you want to wear any matte lipstick, then this won’t work for you. It’s pretty well moisturizing. The product goes long way, Couple of swatches is enough to cover my lips. I am obsessed with its fragrance. It’s amazing. I use it every night to feel the smell. I am addicted to it. I use this balm almost every day mainly for the fragrance.
What I like about The body shop cranberry joy lip balm :
• Fragrance is absolutely fantastic. I got this mainly for the amazing scent. I feel like eating it.
• It gives me a slight pink tint to the lips, which is good for normal and daily use.
• Pretty well moisturizing. Feel like buttery.
• Tiny bit of the balm is enough for my lips. Its goes long way.
• Easily available in all “the body shop” counter.
• Lots of flavors/shades are available. I feel like juice fruity.
What I hate about The body shop cranberry joy lip balm:
• As far as lasting power, it doesn’t have a good staying power. Stays just for 1 hour or less.
• I prefer lip tubes than tin. For sanitizing purpose.
• Can’t use for matte lipsticks. It has slight shimmer in it.
That’s it guys. Lip balms are always good for smooth and soft lips. It will prevent our lips from getting dry.
