Today, I’m going to be reviewing one of my current favorite eye shadow palettes from “Too Faced Cosmetics ” that I’ve been super addicted to all week long. This one’s called the “Natural Eye Palette.” I recently won this palette in a blog makeup competition and I went crazy playing with the colors in this palette. These are perfect for a neutral-natural eye and also for a neutral-shimmery eye.

Too faced

This palette comes in a real cute sturdy cardboard box which is extremely feminine and classic chic. The flap is magnetic which makes it easy to open and close this palette. The palette is convenient, purse-size and super easy to carry around. As much as I love the packaging, I always have this weird feeling like I’m going to crush this cardboard-box-palette if I accidentally sit on it. The box is real strong, but the thought scares me!

The palette comes with three easy-to-follow, step-by-step “How-To Cards.” These cards basically help beginners for creating 3 types of looks with the 3 rows of eye shadows in this palette viz. Day, Classic and Fashion. I personally feel this is a really innovative idea and very useful for girls who are new to creating different looks and combinations. These cards are super fun to play with.

The palette contains a total of 9 eye shadows; 3 bigger eye shadows of 2 g each and 6 small eye shadows of 0.9 g each. Let me describe each row for you.

Row 1 – DAY

Swatch 1

This row consists of soft, matte eye shadows that are super pigmented. The shades are:
Heaven – Off-white ivory- highlight color. It’s not that visible in the photos but it looks amazing on the brow bone.
Velvet Revolver – This is the perfect color for the eyelid. It’s a skin color.
Sexpresso – Chocolate brown. It is the darkest shade in the palette. Perfect for smokey eye and I also use this for filling my eyebrows since it’s a perfect color for my brows. 😀

Row 2 – CLASSIC

This row consists of all shimmery-metallic eye shadows. The shades are:
Silk Teddy – Frosty pink – highlight color and tear duct highlight.
Push Up – Dark Shimmery bronze.
Erotica – Brown with golden shimmer.

Row 3 – FASHION

Swatch 3

This row consists of glittery and shimmery eye shadows. The shades are:
Nude Beach – Light shimmery pink with super chunky glitter. This is my least favorite eye shadow since it has chunky glitter and too much fall out.
Honey Pot – A brilliant golden shade with golden shimmer.
Cocoa Puff – Coffee brown with golden shimmer.

Top Row

In the photos, I’ve swatched these on the top row on a white eye shadow base and on the bottom row without any base whatsoever.

Overall, this is an “AMAZING” palette; I can just throw it in my bag and carry it around. The colors blend really well and just a touch of the finger is enough for an entire eyelid. Trust me, I’m not even exaggerating. I love these eye shadows, I’ve used them all week long and every time I’ve used such a tiny bit for my entire eyelid. 😀
