My Experience with The Face Shop White Seed Brightening Lotion:

White seed lotion comes in a fresh white tube with a small clear cap, that is not that secure and it might open up if you are traveling with it. Otherwise, it is a nice bottle with a pump dispenser, that provides the right amount of product and it works so smoothly. I always prefer such hygienic packaging. It also comes with a grey outer box that contains all the detailed information about it.

As a lotion, it has medium to thin white texture that glides so well on the skin and it feels like a water-based product. It gets absorbed into the skin nicely with a few massages. It feels light and comfortable on the skin. I prefer to blend the lotion between my fingers and then lightly pat the lotion on my face. In this dabbing motion, the product nicely goes into the skin and leaves a beautiful soft, dewy look. It actually provides that perfect Korean glossy dewy look without making the skin oily.

It instantly adds a healthy glow to the skin and provides good hydration to it. Though I have oily skin, during this dry season, my cheeks get dry and I have some dry patches as well. It instantly provides a great relief to the dryness and makes the skin smoother and softer. It moisturizes skin deeply and repairs dryness. Basically, this range is perfect for normal to dry skin and in this dry season, it suits all the skin types. It might feel little greasy during hot summer days but for now, it never makes skin oily.

Now, coming to its brightening claim, yes, it does impart a bright glow and the skin looks so fresh and clear after using it for around a month. My spots look faded and my skin appears good even a lot. It effectively reduces the dullness and brings back the natural healthy glow. It works slowly and takes time to show the result on spots and other skin problems, but I have noticed the bright glow within a week. This is perfect for those who don’t prefer thick cream but wants deep hydration to the skin with a bright glow. The formula is new to me and it does live up to its claims well. It repairs skin and regular usage will bring a lot of changes to it. The hydration stays long throughout the day. Also, it suits to my sensitive skin.

Overall, I love this product and it feels so good on my skin. Due to its dewy finish, I can easily use it as a base of my matte foundation to make them winter perfect. I can use it day and night as well and it helps to maintain the natural healthy glow on the skin. Maybe it is an expensive product, but I only require one to two drops of it. So, this big bottle will quite a long time for me.
