Tom Ford Cheek Color – 06 Wicked Review
I wanted to be the first one to review a Tom Ford product on IMBB, but when someone beat me to the punch, I became exceptionally lethargic about introducing this beauty to you gals. I earlier reviewed the Tom Ford Lipsticks in Wild Ginger and Violete Fatale! Today, I introduce to you Tom Ford Cheek Color in the shade Wicked! Rati has earlier reviewed the shade Flush for you all. Let’s check out more details about “Wicked.”

Product Details (from website):
Sculpt your cheekbones and make them pop with cheek color blush by Tom Ford. The powder blush is designed to deliver layers of possibility to your makeup application, from a sexy glow to a dramatic color-rich look so you can pick the style that best suits your needs. It’s formulated with spherical pearls and rich emollients to glide onto your skin with comfort and to give you a luminous finish.

Price:
USD $57 for 8 gm. Yes, the price is steep. One has to remember that this is Tom Ford. You are getting more product than most high-end blushes which generally range from 4-6 gm.
Packaging:
The product comes packaged in a neat elegant case with gold detailing. The case has a big mirror but no applicator. Like most high-end brands, it’s housed inside a suede cover, packaged in a card board box. The packaging is elegant and high end.
My Experience with Tom Ford Cheek Color – 06 Wicked:
Color: The shade is raspberry pink with fine pink shimmer in it. The shade in itself may not seem very unique, but is something which pairs easily with a range of lipsticks. The shimmer is so fine that you don’t really see particle of shimmer on your skin, it’s more like a glowing sheen. I feel this color is universally flattering and will look pretty on a variety of skin tones. It just perks up the face and looks very pretty.
Texture: Finely milled, so so smooth and very blendable texture. It comes off easily on the brush or finger and applies naturally. It applies evenly, there is no patchiness. It feels creamy to the touch – though it is a powder product for sure. The blush is so easily blendable that you don’t really need to put in any effort in blending, a couple of strokes and your are done. This is the smoothest and best texture I have ever come across in a blush.
Pigmentation: Excellent pigmentation. This one is highly pigmented, so a little goes a long way. It is easy to get a soft or a more pronounced look with this one. It’s not something that you need to spend time on building up.
Lasting Power: Yet again, the blush shines in this aspect too. You apply it in the morning, you will still see it right where you left it in the evening – after 9-10 hours of wear time. You can actually put it, shut it and forget it!
Visibility on skin tone: The color shows up easily, one gentle swipe of the brush gives amazing pigmentation. Fair skinned girls will need to go very gentle with this one.
Pros of Tom Ford Cheek Color – 06 Wicked:
- Finely milled, smooth, easily blendable – almost creamy in texture.
- Excellent pigmentation.
- Lasted well over 9-10 hours on my oily face (with foundation).
- The color works well for day and night both.
- The product has an amazing sheen which does not accentuate the pores.
- Did not break me out.
Cons of Tom Ford Cheek Color – 06 Wicked:
- Availability in India.
IMBB Rating:
5/5
Overall Thoughts:
I was thinking and debating so much whether to splurge on this one – I spent about 4.5K on this. This was my first ever Tom Ford product. The colour itself is not unique, easily dupe-able, but the quality of this one is absolutely amazing – it just melts into the skin. If you have tried NARS blushes or heard how incredible they are; well, this one beats the pants out of NARS too. So there, now you know how brilliant this is. I would definitely recommend it.
