Tone Your Face Organically!
I say Hello to the Beauties out there!
They say going organic is the new thing, and indeed it is!
When you can find “chalk powder” in cosmetics, and “sodium lauryl sulphate” in toothpastes, it is better we return to our Daadi Maa Ke Nuskhe!
They might not come in pretty packaging, might not have labels to show off in your hobo bags, but they work, and they work wonders!
Today, I am going to share with you all what all do I use to tone my skin. Toning is something that people usually skip out. They normally cleanse, and mositurise, and that’s pretty over. But, most of us tend to forget, it is actually the toning that gives you a supple and even skin.
I have a combination skin, Oily at the T-zone, Chin and Forehead and normal elsewhere.
1. Tomato Pulp.
It is easy and is the best. Puree the pulp in the mixer, just enough for your face and neck. Chill it in the refrigerator and once chilled, use cotton balls to use on a clean face. People with acne might feel some sensation, but that’s normal. Let it stay over a while. Wash off with water. This not only instantly smoothens your face, but you can even notice closing of your open pores.
2. Papaya
It is rich in anti-oxidants. Use with a little milk and apply over the face. It helps in removing dead cells and pigmentation spots to an extent. You may also want to try rose water in it to get good results. “Papain” is a very good exfoliator.
3. Watermelon
Use pieces of chilled watermelon on a clean skin. It is rich in Vitamins and is known for its anti-ageing properties. It not only tightens your skin, but also helps in removing blemishes. You would love the glowing skin you will get! I Love Watermelon, I end up eating them all the time
4. Cucumber
Mix cucumber and vinegar together and apply with cotton balls. Cucumber is rich in Vitamin C and has a soothing effect on the skin. You would feel tightening of pores. Vinegar helps in removing tan. You may also want to try Potato juice as well. You would be astounded to realize, potato juice is useful in the treatment of Cancer too!
5. Hibiscus Powder
I have heard about this lately. You can mix with rose water and apply on skin. It works as an anti-cellulite, improves skin tone and improves you skin longevity. Though, I have not tried it yet, but I am sure I am going to do this soon. As a double benefit, it is super good for your hair as well. So, it seems like an investment to me! Please let me know, how did this work for you, as well!
So, fellas, this was for now. Please share some good ones with me. I am a very on the go person. I cannot really sit for hours and have regular facials and bleaches. Share you beauty mantras too!
