My Experience with Ulta Girls Night Out Eyeshadow Quad:
I had previously reviewed another Ulta eyeshadow quad in the shade Glamour Girl here. This basically is the same in texture and packaging, just that the shades are different.
This quad contains the following shades:
- Taupe: a pale silvery-whitish shade, good for highlighting and inner corners.
- Organza: a brown shade.
- Sterling: a bright silvery shade.
- Eggplant: as the name suggests a deep purple shade.
I am very disappointed with this quad because firstly the color pigments are just a complete fail. None of these colors show up properly. Moreover, the shades taupe and Sterling look almost similar and organza and eggplant look similar. So, basically, I just got 2 shades for the price of 4. All 4 of these shades look shimmery to me, which I think is not a very good combination. There should be at least one matte color in a quad for versatility.
There is a little bit of fallout. The packaging is very cheap and no mirror or brush is provided. I would not recommend this quad to anybody.
Pros of Ulta Girls Night Out Eyeshadow Quad:
- Good for every day use.
- Convenient to carry around.
- Easy to remove.
- Affordable.
Cons of Ulta Girls Night Out Eyeshadow Quad:
- Bad pigments.
- Creases and smudges.
- Fades quickly.
- No applicator or mirror provided.

the shade selection is bad!
Yeah i knw..silver and purple ..i dun think is the best combo
I cant believe that they didnt include an applicator especially when they are charging 12$ for it.
I knw.. Bttr to buy it during sales if u wanna try other shades of these..i blv they are $5 during sale also thr r promotions lyk buy 1 gt one free constantly at ulta
I liked the other ulta quad better Neha 🙂
Yeah me too.. Im soo sad this one did not live up to my expectations
Neha dnt u think fr an ULTA brand it is quite pricey,,, nevertheless nice quad good fr everyday wear 🙂
Sad, this didnt turn out good. I agree, for black smokey eye look, matte shades make more effect. If all shades are shimmery, its a turn-off.
And it contains phenoxyethanol and parabens too! Thank you for warning us.
Errr 🙁
