So today, I am reviewing three shades of Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter eyeliners – ACDC, Glam Rock, and Spandex.

My Experience with Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliners – ACDC, Glamrock, Spandex:

ACDC is this pale gold kind of a color. It is like a muted gold shade. Actually, it is like that antique gold, pale platinum gold kind of a color. It’s a very unique gold color, sometimes it gives a hint of gold shine and sometimes it has a silver shine to it, somewhere in the middle. Spandex is this gorgeous turquoise blue kind of color. “Glam Rock” is a pure silver color.

I have to say that using glitters has never been easier, when you see these heavy metal liners from Urban Decay. They are one of the best way and the easiest way that you can use glitter. Although they are glitter liners, you can use them in so many different ways. Traditionally, when you have to use glitter, you have to use the glitter glue, and then use the glitter, and then remove the whole glitter fallout. But with these liners, it’s like liquid glitter in a tube and it couldn’t get easier to use glitter than these liners. They are so stunning. They come in these whole range of shades from blues to gold to pinks to purples, and even browns – you think of it and they have a color in it.

These liners come in see-through tubes, so it is easier to store and they come with this very thin brush. Although the thin brush helps in getting a little amount of glitter every time, it helps in controlling the product so that you don’t end up getting like a thick blob of glitter. You can literally build up these liners. The base is pretty clear and UD has somehow mixed the glue with the glitter and it kind of feels a little wet when you use it on your skin, but it dries completely after a while.

These liners are so long lasting. I haven’t used a better glitter product than this so far.

UD has provided these liners with a little wiper on the top which prevents the product from spilling out, so if you want to use it in a heavy-duty form, what you can do is that you can remove that wiper and take the product on your fingertips and literally put it like full-on your eyelid. They are very long-lasting, they don’t fall off the lids. I have never had any issues with these liners. I love to use them in the corner of my eyes, on top of my eyelid, on the centre of my lid or just as a liner. When you are using as a liner, you have to build it up a little because the base is clear, so to get equal concentration of color, go little by little and build up the color equally, but it is not tough to use, and if you can get hold of it, then it is the best thing that has really happened in the makeup world.

These are literally legendary products and I hope UD continues to bring them out because these are just the best.

Also, when you use these glitter liners on top of eyeshadows, they don’t remove the shadow from underneath because they are so light to use. The brush is so light and thin, it kind of prevents rest of the makeup from moving. The brush applies the glitter like a feather on the eyes. You have to give it a few seconds to dry because it applies wet. If you are using it on top of your eyelids all over, don’t open your eyes instantly, just wait for it to dry and then open your eyes, but other than that, I would give 5/5 rating to these. There could not be a better glitter product around, it is beyond beautiful and the colors are stunning. Honestly, I can’t get enough of them. They are also sulphate, phthalates free.

Also, glitter in these liners is very smooth, so you don’t feel any chunkiness or grittiness on the lid. It dries on quickly. It just stays put. It is just absolutely a great product.

You can not only use them alone, you can also layer one color on top of the other while the first layer is still wet, so you can create custom your own glitter, like a multi glitter look with these. You can go all creative with these liners and they are the best of best in the beauty world.
