All of you must be knowing by now, that I am more of a pink-orange-red type of girl. I just adore such shades; and me and MLBB shades do not get along very well. I feel they do nothing for my face, no glow to the face and all, so even during day time, I go in for some sort of color on the lips, be it just a tinted lip balm. Well, I am glad to declare that I have finally met my match in this shade. One look at this and I was not interested; one swipe of this across my lips; and I had my eyes almost popping out, and my palms almost itching. I wanted to get this so much. This is a perfect day time shade for all of you; a MLBB for me; yet not a MLBB. Weird, huh!!!! But totally worth the money.

My experience with Urban Decay Rapture Revolution Lipstick :
This is one product, which has totally beaten me. What I say to it is: Hats’ off. The packaging is beautiful, made of recycled paper box packaging. The lipstick shade corresponds with the sticker on the box, on which all the ingredients are listed. Inside, there is a metallic case, on which the logo and the brand name are engraved. I just love this packaging.
The bullet is a standard, sleek bullet, with a slant top. This slant helps in proper gliding of the lipstick on the lips. And glide it does!!!
This is undoubtedly a lipstick and a chapstick rolled into one. It consistency is very balmy, which heals your lips, hydrates your lips, as well as adds a pop of color to your lips. The lipstick simply glides on the lips, whether they are prepared or not. It provides around medium coverage; and will definitely cover pigmented lips. One swipe will be enough for light shade on non-pigmented lips; however, the color can be built up by swiping it 2-3 times. Despite the balmy texture, it feels light and comfortable on the lips. It does not have any annoying fragrance as such. The shade , as I said is a MLBB shade, yet not a MLBB shade. I am bored of MLBB shades. They look dull, boring on my lips, and one look of myself in the mirror, and I start feeling bored. This shade is described as a dusty rose by the brand. However, on me, it looks more like a brown ; with hints of pink and purple in it. This is a very unique combination, and I do not own such a shade at all. All my n**e lipsticks tend to be rose; or brown, with a hint of oink or red or coral in it. But no purple tinge. This one is a pure masterstroke, I feel. The color looks very MLBB on my lips, but with a modern twist to it. I am totally enjoying this.
The formula is fairly moisturising. In fact, it is partly a balm, and it does tend to moisturise your lips continuously and very well. You do not need to prep and prime your lips, it will do all your work. However, despite being of a balmy nature, it stays put on your lips, and does not bleed at all. It covers your lips well, and does not sit into lip lines.
This shade lasts 4-5 hours on me with snacks in between, which is decent enough. There is s soft sheen on the lips after the lipstick sets …and after that, there is no transfer on to glasses and cups. It does leave a light stain on the lips, which I can see since my lips are non-pigmented. However, people with pigmented lips may not see any stain at all.
