Vaseline has finally launched a new variant of their petroleum jelly. We all need a tub of Vaseline Petroleum Jelly during winters and this time I picked up this new one. This one is called Light Hydrating Jelly – Aloe Fresh. Now, let’s get into the review.

My Experience with Vaseline Light Hydrating Jelly Aloe Fresh:
Just like the original Vaseline jelly, this one too comes in a clear jar with a blue flip cap but this one has a green sticker over it which basically indicates the variant. Everything is very pretty; just the jar packaging is not hygienic at all. Otherwise, it is a nice travel-friendly size and affordable too.
Since this jelly contains aloe vera it smells very fresh and natural – just like aloe vera. I love this fresh, soothing scent and I think everyone will like it. Now, coming to its texture and quality, it has a smooth and soft jelly-like clear texture that glides well on the skin. Just like their usual Vaseline jelly, this one too looks thick, wax-like in the tub. But once I put it on hand, it feels slippery and smooth, and it blends effortlessly on the skin too.
This formula is lightweight and non-greasy. I do feel it is lighter than the original one and it gets absorbed amazingly by the skin without any oily residue. This one is gentle enough for the skin and feels quite refreshing. Aloe Fresh Jelly instantly relieves dryness and makes skin super smooth and soft. It heals dry texture and provides the desired amount of hydration to the skin.
This jelly is perfect and it can be used on rough skin, dry lips, dry knees and elbows; you can also apply it on dry feet. I basically use it in places where I need instant hydration. It protects and seals the moisture in and keeps my skin soft for long. I have extremely dry hands and feet. For me, it works very well and keeps them hydrated. The best part is that it never feels heavy or sticky on the skin, so I can work or walk comfortably.
It repairs dry, cracked areas and soothes itchiness easily. I love to use it on my lips and it works perfectly. We all know how to use Vaseline on the skin and this is definitely a useful product for all seasons. Since this is a lightweight product it is good enough for day as well as night time.
We all know about Rati’s Vaseline Glow and can use this lightweight jelly as a natural highlighter on the face. I have oily skin and I use it on my face, still it gives me the most natural-looking, illuminating glow without making my skin oily. This one is just perfect for my oily skin as it blends so well.
Overall, I am obsessed with this new Vaseline jelly right now and it’s working like a wonder for me this winter. Your skin might require a reapplication since this jelly isn’t heavy. I do not mind it, though. This is a nice product that provides hydration and I like it for its lightweight texture.

Yes to both. I prefer this light hydrating jelly over the original one, so I will definitely repurchase it. It’s a good multipurpose product for everyone. Still, consider buying the original Vaseline jelly if you have extremely dry skin.
