Victoria’s Secret Pink Cool and Bright 2-in-1 Wash and Scrub Review

Continuing with my review of VS products, I will tell you about Victoria’s Secret Pink Cool and Bright 2-in-1 Wash and Scrub today.

My Experience with Victoria’s Secret Pink Cool and Bright 2-in-1 Wash and Scrub:

The Victoria’s Secret Pink range of 2-in-1 Wash and Scrub comes in a huge, bulky tube that are not really travel friendly. This icy blue and white tube has a smooth matte finish and a frosted silver screw on cap. The font looks very catchy! The cap closes tightly, which prevents the product from drying and spilling. Product details are mentioned on the tube. This color is one of my personal favorites and gives such a summery vibe.

If you have read my earlier reviews, you would know how some scents seem identical. Unless you have very sensitive nose and are clearly able to distinguish between each note, you might get bored. Thankfully, this is a welcome change. This Victoria’s Secret Pink Cool and Bright 2-in-1 Wash and Scrub has a very refreshing fragrance. This has quickly become one of my favorites. The scent is light, summery and very fresh. Aqua notes with a mild fruit punch gives such a tropical feel. Brings back memories of sun, sand and sea.

Similar to the other scrubs in this range (Beach Flower, Pink Fresh, Warm and Cozy, Pink Wild), this body scrub has a thick texture with micro beads and fine sugar. The granules are suspended in the gel and hence do not feel harsh or abrasive.

If you like foaming washes, you will like this. It gives a significant lather with water. I love the feeling of foam, as it gives me the feeling of “squeaky clean” skin. On damp skin, as you massage, it gives a nice fragrant lather along with proper exfoliation. It completely eliminates the need to use a separate body scrub as it excels as both a shower gel and scrub. The granules disintegrate and melt on massaging and hence do not clog drains. It is great for the daily dose of exfoliation that your body needs to look radiant and glowing. It doesn’t strip off moisture, but I really recommend using a body lotion on damp skin to keep it supple and smooth. In fact, layering with the body lotion from the same range not moisturizes your skin, but also increases the longevity of the fragrance.

This beautiful fragrance lasts for close to an hour. It’s one of my very favorites, especially on gloomy monsoon days when I need some quick pick-me-up to ease my blues.
