I have discussed in my previous posts about Victoria’s Secret re-launching their Lip range, and they have definitely leveled up their game. Today, I’ll be talking about another lip product from their range. It’s their Pout Lip Stain. Read on to know how it fared for me!

My Experience with Victoria’s Secret Pout Lip Stain Forever Yours:

Packaging: This Lip Stain comes in a super sleek and slim plastic tube which is transparent, and the gloss color is easily visible through it. On top comes a silver cap which is sturdy and prevents any leakage. The brand name is mentioned on the front and other details are mentioned at the back. After recent re-launch, these lip stains come in the same tube but the cap is in black color, instead of silver. Packaging is light and travel-friendly. I prefer keeping it in my bag for office or regular daytime usage. For applicator, it has a slant plastic applicator which is standard for these kinds of tubes.

Lip stains are generally lip glosses which are tinted. When applied, they appear exactly as lip gloss and when fades away, it leaves a colored tint on the lips. I have used tints from Benefit brand, but I really like the idea of lip stain over lip tints. I can use tint only for staining purpose, whereas, I use this one as a lip gloss and when it wears off, it looks like a tint. So, this one also has micro shimmer particles in it, which gives a perfect reflex and superior shine. Unlike other glosses from VS, this one also does not stay for very long and transfers too. So, either I reapply it or leave as it is.

Talking about fragrance, it does have a very light vanilla scent which does not stay for long. Texture-wise, it feels a bit sticky but not for a long time. I won’t say that it is thick; just a single coat will give you perfect application.

Talking about the shade “Forever Yours”, it is a blotted red color with cool undertones. It also has glitter in it which makes it glossier. Coverage is very sheer and you have to apply generously to get this color to show on your lips.
