My Experience with VLCC Ayurveda Skin Purifying Double Power Double Neem Facewash:

VLCC Ayurveda Skin Purifying Double Power Double Neem Facewash comes in a pretty, clear green tube with a flip top cap that secures the product perfectly. It is a pretty basic packaging and lightweight too. This small tube is easy to carry around and the product is super affordable as well.

Since it is a neem face wash it smells exactly like other typical neem face washes. It’s a pretty common scent and I love this fresh, pleasant fragrance. It doesn’t bother my nose but is a little too strong for sensitive noses. I feel that an Ayurvedic product should not have such a strong scent.

This face wash has a green gel-like thin texture which spreads and blends easily. A coin sized amount is required to create a good amount of lather and it works so smoothly on the skin. It i easy to rinse as well. I always prefer neem-based face washes for my oily skin and this one also has worked well for me. This face Wash cleanses my skin deeply and removes dirt and impurities from the pores. It makes the skin fresh and clean. I really like its cleansing power.

Being a neem wash it adds a boost of freshness to the skin which lasts long. It provides a nice cooling sensation to the skin and I can feel a soothing effect also. It also purifies the skin well and pulls out the pollution from oily skin. It removes excess oil from the face and makes skin oily free. It can control oil for a good time – around 4 hours.

It is not only a purifying face wash, it effectively reduces the dull texture and brings back the natural glow of the skin. But it is not a skin brightening face wash. It is more of a deep cleansing face wash, which we all need after a long day out.

This face wash never makes my skin dry or stretchy but still I feel it is not hydrating enough for dry skin. The hydration it provides is good for oily to combination skin and it keeps skin soft and smooth nicely. But dry skin might need a little extra hydration. On my skin, it works well and I love the smooth effect it imparts.

Now, it also contains neem which claims to prevent pimples and it does its job well to prevent pimples. I was suffering from some small acne and the face wash somehow worked on them by reducing them quickly. But it takes time to work when it comes to big pimples. It is made for sensitive skin and it’s never irritated my skin.

Though it is a pretty basic face wash I love how fresh it makes my skin feel. I always require a neem face wash in my regimen and this is my current one. I was expecting some brightening effects, which this face wash could not add to the skin. Otherwise, this is a great deal!
