Wet ‘n’ Wild Desert Festival Fergie Collection Eye Shadow Review

I am on constant look out for eye shadows that go well with my dusky complexion. On my last trip to Target, I saw the Wet n Wild eye shadow under Fergie collection and most of them were regular shades that I already have but this one looked appealing. Also, it seemed like one that would look good on Indian skin tone.

My Take On Wet N Wild Desert Festival Fergie Collection Eye Shadow:

This palette has a very appropriate name – desert festival. It has warm orange and brown toned colors and one is very dark murky brown shade which is perfect for Smokey eye looks. This palette is good for me because it helps to camouflage blue toned eye.

Packaging: Each color is placed in small separate section and the center color has been artistically branded ‘F’. The pan has a see through cover and compared to other Wet n Wild eye shadows, this one has a sturdier and fancier packaging.

Texture: It is a powder eye shadow set in cake form but is very smooth and easy to apply. Even the shade with mild shimmer is smooth and does not feel gritty.

Color: Pale champagne, matte orange, mud brown with gold undertones, black-brown with shimmer and matte dark brown.

Pigmentation: Very good pigmentation. I gently swiped my finger tips on the shadows to take a picture and was delightfully amazed to see the color my finger tips picked up. Two swipes are enough to get an intense eye look.
Wear time: 5-6 hours after which it starts to crease. One can increase the wear time if one uses primer or white eye shadow underneath.

Conclusion: This is a very good product for the money paid. Each palette offers varying range of shades which are sufficient to complete the look. The shade range in particular is very versatile and looks beautiful on any skin tone. Warm tones in particular go well with traditional wear or festivals.

Cons of the Wet N Wild Desert Festival Fergie Collection Eye Shadow:

• Brush it comes with is very useless (but usually it’s the same case with all product).

Would I Repurchase Wet N Wild Desert Festival Fergie Collection Eye Shadow?
Maybe not, because it will last me a while but I would love to try out other palettes under the Fergie collection. Also, I recommend it to all those who look for eye shadows which can be used in multiple ways to get different looks.
