Packaging
The Yardley lip balm comes in three variants- blue one for high hydration, red one is strawberry flavored and purple one which is blackberry flavour. I picked up the strawberry one. The packaging of these lip balms is regular, it comes in a simple white plastic packaging and has a bright red coloured cap. The product details like manufacture date, ingredients and price are printed. The lip balm comes with decent 4.5gm of the product which will last for a good amount of time. Overall the packaging is hygienic and travel friendly.
My experience with Yardley London Hydrating Lip Balm in Strawberry Dew
The lip balm is in a very light pink color with micro fine silver shimmer particles and it has a very mild bubblegum fragrance. It is mild and fades away within a minute of application itself. The texture of the lip balm is very soft, creamy and slightly thick. It glides easily on the lips and instantly makes it soft. It is not greasy or slippery. But even though it has a slight thick texture, I do not feel heavy, sticky or uncomfortable on my lips.
The lip balm once applied on the lips leaves a strong white cast, definitely not flattering on my pigmented lips at all. As single layer of the lip balm leaves a light whitish cast as soon as I layer it more, it leaves a strong white film. I really hate it on my pigmented lips, it makes me look miserable. The formula of the lip balm is decent and moisturizing. As the climate here is changing and summers are approaching I find this one perfect for me but the white cast stops me from using it. I wished it just faded as soon as it is applied but it doesn’t fade at all, it stays put for more than an hour. I think, if you have nice pink and less pigmented lips then this might not be an issue for you as it won’t be too visible on your lips.
The formula does moisturize lips really well. People with excessively dry and chapped lips might not find it really hydrating and healing lips. The lip balm stays on for two hours and then goes away. But my lips feel softer even after it fades away. The formula of the lip balm has a light sheen with the white cast.

Will I Repurchase/Do I Recommend Yardley London Hydrating Lip Balm in Strawberry Dew?
No, I will not repurchase this again as it leaves an unflattering white cast on my lips. I do recommend trying it only if you have nice pink lips. Overall, it does work really well as a decent lip balm, you can give it a try if you don’t have pigmented lips. But, it might still leave a slight whitish sheen on you.
