Yves Rocher Nutri-Repair Treatment Shampoo Review

Hello IMBBians,

My recent posts have been about hair care range. I am trying to incorporate oils and paraben free products in my hair care routine. Yves Rocher has very good products, that use natural ingredients and are free of parabens and silicones. So, I felt there is no better brand to opt for a healthy shampoo and picked up Yves Rocher Nutri-Repair Treatment Shampoo and today’s review is about the same.

My Experience with Yves Rocher Nutri-Repair Treatment Shampoo:

Yves Rocher Nutri-Repair Treatment Shampoo is not new to me. I had received a small 50ml free sample of this shampoo, during my last Yves Rocher Haul, I absolutely loved the product and I picked up a bigger bottle.

The packaging is pretty simple. The shampoo comes in a green plastic bottle with a brown flip cap. The bottle is a bit translucent and you can see the contents of the shampoo highlighting the area where it is present. The flip cap is very tight and shuts well and the product is travel friendly. The brown cap is also a screw cap and I use it often, as the flip cap is a bit tight and when I do not have so much patience, I just unscrew the cap. The shampoo is creamy and white in color and has a semi thick consistency. The shampoo has a wonderful pleasant fragrance and even though it doesn’t stay long, for the few moments it stays, I love it. The shampoo lathers well and a little product is enough for a clean scalp.

The shampoo also works without any fuss on heavily oiled hair. The shampoo also cleanses well when rinsed and leaves no residue. The shampoo is not heavy and doesn’t weigh down the hair. It doesn’t contain silicones and thus it doesn’t coat the hair making it look artificially healthy. The shampoo makes the hair smooth and soft.

I have noticed very good results using this shampoo, for almost a month. I have really oily scalp and dry ends and have to wash my hair every alternate days but with this shampoo, I have noticed that it doesn’t make my scalp very oily by the second day, even though I have to wash my hair, I can also let it go at times and have no issues with an oily scalp. The shampoo also contains 96% natural ingredients which is a bonus. While the shampoo makes the hair soft, supple and shiny, it doesn’t make the hair manageable. After a bath, I need to apply a hair serum to remove the knots in my hair or wait for my hair to dry and then brush it out. I wish the shampoo remove my tangles.

The shampoo also moisturizes and nourishes the hair, I have been noticing that my dry hair ends are looking healthy. While the shampoo is free from parabens and silicones, there are still chemicals in it. It contains SLS and I wished that the product was free of them too. Overall, the shampoo is a good buy and I am also planning to buy the conditioner from the same range to add more benefits to my hair. So summing up:
