My Experience with Yves Rocher Pur Bluet Gentle Eye Makeup Remover:

The product comes in a round, plastic, transparent container with a white flip cap. The product is small and handy which makes it a perfect companion for travelling. The product is purple in color and has a water-like consistency. The flip cap sits tight and you can be assured that there will be no leakage during travelling. Since it is only 100 ml, it also makes a good product to carry along in flights. The smell is pleasant and very mild. I guess this is formulated keeping the sensitive eyes in mind.

The product is made for sensitive eyes and for contact lens wearer. I don’t fall in either categories, but of late, I am seeing dryness on my eyelids and they are getting very itchy; and that made me switch my eye care products to sensitive ones. And during this overall, I decided to pick this Yves Rocher gentle eye makeup remover. Since this gentle eye makeup remover doesn’t contain too many chemicals, I feel it’s safe to use this. The application is pretty basic. You apply the product on a cotton pad, place the wet pad on the eye for a few seconds, and then gently wipe off.

The product gently removes makeup without causing any tug or pull. I gently sweep the cotton pad on the eyes. It removes my eye makeup in one go but for waterproof makeup, I leave the cotton pad on for a few extra seconds (maybe 5 seconds extra) and it effectively removes all makeup. However, when you have a very heavy eye makeup on, it might need a little more product and two sweeps to get the makeup off your eyes.

The product is great and doesn’t cause any irritation, I have used the product even on my waterline and didn’t have any issue.

The product can be a great addition for sensitive eyes and also for those who use kohl on their waterline. The product doesn’t leave any greasy residue behind and as claimed by the brand, it can be left without any additional washing. However, I prefer washing off residue makeup with water post removal with this product. This eye makeup remover soothes the eyes and you feel a sense of freshness post removal. The product is free from parabens and has been made with natural ingredients. The dryness on my eyelids has also diminished, which is great. I love this gentle eye makeup remover and it is a must-have if you have gentle eyes or if you wear contact lenses.
