Notes:
The fragrance opens with the soft and fresh citrus scent of bergamot and mandarin, enhanced by pepper notes in a unique composition. At the heart, the Italian rose is the star with its rich intensity. The seducing touch of its velvety petals is enhanced by harmonious notes of violet, peony, and lily-of-the-valley. This crescendo of emotions continues in the base with Virginia cedar wood enhanced by a grey amber and musk accord, creating an unforgettable blend.

It comes packaged in a cylindrical shaped good quality frosted plastic bottle with a golden coloured screw open cap. This elegant bottle comes packaged in a mango coloured cardboard box; the golden coloured font and pink coloured border add to the elegance of the box. The bottle has an inner plastic cap, which has a small outlet to pour out the gel, thereby avoiding any wastage.

My Experience with Acqua di Parma Rosa Nobile Shower Gel:

Having used Rosa Nobile Eau de Parfum from Acqua di Parma, which I have already reviewed, I could not resist the temptation to buy Rosa Nobile Shower Gel. I felt I should review it before I bottom up the bottle. It’s expensive and so I prefer using it on special days or when I am in a mood of pampering my body with a rose petal oil bath. It’s a delicate, perfumed and caressing shower gel. The texture of this shower gel is soft, velvety and mildly creamy. It’s a gentle formula that respects the skin’s natural balance and protects the skin. It is enriched with provitamin B5 and rose wax; these ingredients offer nourishing and moisturising properties.

Skin feels velvety soft, moisturised and elegantly perfumed after use. I do not feel the need to use any moisturiser after bathing with rosa nobile shower gel. I pour a few drops on a moist loofah or bath lily and cleanse my body in circular motions. This shower gel transforms into a soft creamy foam. Body feels thoroughly cleansed, pampered, moisturised and nourished. It does not dry or irritate my skin but leaves it moisturised and an oily sensation can be felt on the skin. The fragrance is dominated with key notes of rose. The feeling is like bathing in rose petal oil. The fragrance lingers on and the oily, moisturised sensation is felt on the body for quite some time.
