My Experience with Blistex Happy Lips Mango Lip Balm:

I have been using tinted lip balms for long as I like a little bit of tint and colour on my lips. But I always prefer a plain one for the nights. I wanted to buy a medicated lip balm but when I saw the ‘Mango’ flavoured one, I couldn’t resist myself. I love mangoes and would use the Avon Mango Lipbalm long back and this one brought me memories. I picked up the last piece that was available.

‘Happy lips’ is a new range from Blistex and there are two variants: Mango and Strawberry. The packaging is good. It comes sealed pack and it is easy to remove the product. The lip balm comes in an orange case with a transparent cap with a lot of yellow lippy kisses; it is juicy to kiss! The product is off-white in colour and has a flavour of juicy mangoes. It smells more like a ripened mango and smells very original.

The lip balm, when applied, doesn’t leave any tint or colour. It leaves a little hint of sheen and looks like the skin is moisturized and hydrated. The product glides and is very easy to apply. The lip balm moisturizes the lips very perfectly with a light wax over the lips which is not very sticky or irritating. The flavour of the lip balm lingers around the lips and you are left with the sweet taste of the lip balm. The lip balm can be a perfect base for a lipstick.

It smoothens out the dry lips and the lipstick glides on without any breaks! The lip balm contains Vitamin E and it moisturizes the lips effectively. The moisturization effect stays long for almost 6 hours and doesn’t lose the hydration effect even after several meals and drinks. It stays on for a good 4 hours without transferring and is also waterproof! The lip balm is a perfect solution for dry, dehydrated lips which need intense moisturization. The effects can be seen from the first usage and a pimped up mango flavour is an added bonus!
