First of all, I missed y’all a lot. I have been busy lately and will continue to be till mid-December, but I could not resist myself from taking a little break to review this beauty simply because I was missing writing for IMBB a lot.  It has been quite a few months that I had been eyeing this lipstick and wanting to get my hands on it, but I couldn’t find it in my city. At last, I got the opportunity to buy it from an international website. I had read reviews on IMBB about the other shades in this range.  So, I picked up a shade which was already reviewed and this really beautiful pink shade – Pink Pong.

My Experience with Bourjois Pink Pong Rouge Edition Velvet Lipstick:

Packaging:

It is packaged in a plastic, square-shaped tube. The tube is transparent and makes the colour as well as the quantity of the product easily visible. It has a plastic lid in the colour of the shade with a doe-foot applicator. Mmm..I know what you all must be thinking, lipstick and doe-foot applicator. Yes, because contrary to its name, this is a liquid lipstick.

Colour:

Pink Pong is a fierce, bold fuchsia pink. I am into pinks these days and the colour justifies my inclination 😉 It is a colour that every lady will rock.

Texture:

The texture of the lipstick is creamy and non-streaky. It glides smoothly onto the lips, courtesy it’s liquid property. It dries to a matte finish soon after application. It does not dry lips or settle into fine lines. It also does not tug or pull the lips. It feels absolutely light on the lips.

Pigmentation:

The pigmentation is great, it goes opaque in one swipe. Ladies with pigmented lips will love it.

Staying Power:

It is amazingly long-lasting. The staying power is a good 8-10 hours on my lips with meals and drinks. It starts fading evenly after 5-6 hours . It does transfer initially but does not bleed.
