Hello to all the Gorgeous Ladies!!

Whenever I talk about makeup and “lipsticks” more importantly, I always remember my Geography teacher, Ms. Wahida. She was and still is a beautiful woman. I remember her perfect red lips and her “more-than-awesome” sarees! So talking about lipsticks and red lipsticks, the other day, I went to Shopper’s Stop to get my mom a watch for her birthday.  I was just looking around when a lady from the Bourjois counter asked if I was looking for some help! Actually, the help I needed was that I didn’t want her to distract me with all the beautiful collection Bourjois had. My brother warned me not to buy anything for myself and yes, he was pretty serious this time because I was spending his money

I couldn’t help but turn to her! I then found this lipstick “Bourjois Sweet Kiss Rouge Glamour 54.”  It is a flawless red color, something that instantly reminded me of Ms. Wahida :specs: I didn’t wait to try it out, I asked the lady to pack it

My Take on Bourjois Sweet Kiss Lipstick – Rouge Glamour:

The lipstick doesn’t have an “applaudable” staying power. I believe it is only to a maximum of 4 hours or a little more while the website says it will stay up to 8 long hours because it has all the added oils. The added oils no doubt keep the lips moisturised.

It has a pretty buildable coverage, so 2 or 3 swipes would get you to tame the colour on your lips. It is definetly smooth and buttery, easy to apply. It is a little glossy, something that I appreciate.  The packaging as you all know is very attractive. It comes with that little round button that has to be slid down to open the lipstick. It is available in shades from nudes to peaches to pinks and a few reds.

Though they do not have a large variety of shades in this, the available shades are the ones a lot of women will absolutely fall in love with. The quality of the lipstick is something you can boast of, you should be happy with that.

I got some pictures of me wearing “Rouge Glamour,” with the flash, indoors.

It does not smudge and neither is it sticky. It could definitely help people with pigmented lips.

Pros of Bourjois Sweet Kiss Lipstick – Rouge Glamour:

• Keeps lips moisturised.
• Buildable coverage.
• Great quality and love the packaging.
• No smudging or stickiness.
• Smooth, easy and a little glossy.
• Does not settle into the fine lines on your lips.
• It is not the kind that turns from red to pink or other shades with time.
• It has a color indicator at the top , so I could pick my shade easily from the pile!

Cons of Bourjois Sweet Kiss Lipstick – Rouge Glamour:

• I don’t think I would like to shell out a fortune on a single product as this. Though it is a nice one, I think we’re paying for more than all that it has.
• The shades are very less, I would love to see other colours too.
• The odour could be a problem for a few.

Verdict on Bourjois Sweet Kiss Lipstick – Rouge Glamour:

If you are looking to buy this, then a two or three in your vanity would not hurt because even in the limited number of shades they have, I guess they are the ones really worth trying,  but to me, this red is something I am very much in love with. If you are happy with the red from the pictures, then do buy it!
