Okay, so I will go into a slight rage here over the excruciating torture that happens to us every month. I have had to get hospitalized quite often due to it, it’s that bad! Medicines have somewhat solved the pain part, but there are so many factors which still torture us during these times, like rashes, odor, soreness, wetness, and chafing on thighs. Since I know that a lot of us must go through the same, I thought of reviewing this today, so that others can benefit from my experience. It’s the Clean and Dry Intimate Dusting Powder with Soft Shield technology.

It looks exactly the same as the intimate wash by the same company. The pink is lifted off altogether to reveal the holes for the powder to come through. The packaging is not good quality, and the powder starts falling out if it falls even from a very small height. The cap comes off completely easily.

My Take on Clean and Dry Intimate Dusting Powder:

So, a few weeks back, I went outside and walked the whole day in the heat and came back with severely chafed thighs, which was painful. I went to the doctor, and she gave me some ointment and also suggested me to use this for next time, so I immediately bought it.  The Clotrimazol apparently fights fungal infections too, so she said that it is useful for more than one thing.  I used this at night and next morning, I woke up with it almost healed! I thought I should probably not give this the credit since I used it in conjunction with other stuff, so next time I applied this only, and it is still pretty effective.

Now, I don’t know why they say to use it in your vaginal area, but I would absolutely not suggest you to use it inside, just restrict yourself to the outer area, and you’ll be fine. Also, I have read that using talc can cause ovarian cancer, if it reaches inside your body, so use it outside only!! Other than chafing, I found it to be useful for rashes, odor, and minimizing wetness in the area, so I’m pretty happy with the product itself.

Also, as some general tips, I would like to advise everyone to wash their intimate areas with water every time they use the loo and to wipe themselves with a tissue. A little extra effort goes a long way in maintaining our health for years to come. Also, in general, a faint smell is normal, so don’t go paranoid, but if it is worse, then please visit a doctor before trusting these over-the-counter methods. Better be safe than sorry.
