FabIndia Sandalwood Radiance Pack Review

REVIEW OF SANDALWOOD REDIANCE?? PACK BY FABINDIA
Firstly it was written rediance on the pack instead of radiance. Such a mistake from fabindia is not accepted. I bought this from fabindia when I was looking out for papaya face pack, but couldn’t get one because it was out of stock. So I laid my hands on this one.

Packaging:
fabindia
Sandalwood radiance pack comes in a green jar like most face packs. But in this the jar is got an extra plastic lid covering so that the contents don’t spill. Anyways the consistency of the pack is way too thick to spill.

Key Ingredients:
Sandalwood, Nut Grass, Sweet Flaf, Turmeric, Amla, Khus, Aloe Vera & Camphor.

Benefits Of the Ingredients:
SANDALWOOD: Regular application of sandalwood paste you can get a flawless, glowing facial skin. Apart from this, sandalwood powder has medicinal properties which are useful for treating several health problems and fighting skin infections.

Nut Grass: Common Indian names of the herb are motha and nagarmotha in Hindi, mustak in Sanskrit and motha in Gujarati. The benefits of nut grass are unlimited. It can be used for almost every part of the body. Extrapone Nutgrass works in a gradually way in lightening our skin tone. You will find the reversal to be very natural and long-lasting. In addition this benefit, the skin also gets healthy, soft, supple and well-nourished.

Sweet Flaf: Couldn’t find anything on this one, but there were benefits of sweet flag, maybe this is mis spelled.

Sweet Flag: The pungent-smelling plant contains several essential oils and other compounds that may account for the large number of health benefits attributed to the plant. Due to side effects associated with a certain type of sweet flag. It has got anti-microbial & anti-fungal properties.

Turmeric: The benefits of turmeric are endless. Turmeric helps you reduce pigmentation on your face and even out your skin tone. Turmeric has also been dubbed the wonder product because of its ability to fight free radicals. This excellent anti-oxidant. In fact, turmeric is one of the best known remedies used to reduce the recovery time of various skin afflictions that are caused by chicken pox etc. Turmeric helps in reducing skin rashes as well.

Amla: It powder helps to clear pimples and acne. It cleanses the skin. It powder acts as an astringent and tones the skin. It powder as a topical application is very good for many skin disorders.

Khus: Khus Khus or poppy seeds are extremely good for the skin. The natural oils present in these khus khus seeds work wonders on the skin leaving it smooth and glowing by providing moisture.

Aloe Vera: Aloe Vera is beneficial for cracked and dry skin. Aloe Vera oil can be used on the dry skin to make the skin normal and shiny. It acts as a natural barrier and shields our skin from dangerous toxins. It is an excellent skin moisturizer that keeps the skin flexible by giving oxygen to the cells which in turn increases the strength and synthesis of skin tissue. It is also useful for preventing the aging of the skin. It nourishes the skin and tissues with body-loving nutrients such as vitamin E and C. Aloe Vera gel is helpful in improving the lesions.

Camphor: Camphor oil has the property to be absorbed well by the skin. So, one of the benefits of camphor oil uses is its effectiveness as an anti-itch ointment, creams and cooling gels. The use of camphor oil for acne is well known as it is used in several skin care products. People, who have complaints with their oily skin, can also achieve great results by making use of the oil.

My Experience With FabIndia Sandalwood Radiance Pack:
When I applied the pack, I absolutely felt as if I am applying a layer of cream to my skin. It was nothing like the packs that one usually applies. It did nothing to my oily skin. There was no difference on my skin. With so many exotic & useful ingredients I thought it will work wonders. But it was not even close to normal dace packs, leave alone wonders. But again my skin is oily. I think this would work well for dry skin, providing it with moisture. My face didn’t glow nor did it feel bad. It was as if I just washed my face regularly. I am using this for my manicure & pedicure at home. It works well for this purpose.
PROS & CONS OF THIS PRODUCT:
Well it did nothing to my skin so I think this a waste of money. But at least it did not break me out.
MY RATING FOR THIS PRODUCT: 2/5 (Because I think it might work well for dry skin)
WILL I BUY THIS AGAIN?

Well no. I bought papaya face pack already. 🙂

  1. no radiance 😐 😐 …. i too want to try fab india face packs.. not this one then sum other for sure..

  2. Dimpi…you reviewed the pack nicely….spelling mistakes are really not acceptable from a good brand….sandalwood in a pack is tempting…..but then its better to skip it if it does not do anything ……..again good review dimpi :waytogo: :waytogo:

  3. at present i dont think that fab india is coming with such skin care products which were as effective as the products which r now discontinued, e.g. coral glow face pack.even their papaya face pack, cucumeber aloe vera gel or neem tulsi face pack did nothing to my oily skin………may be its just my opinion, but iam really disappointed with this brand.

  4. Dimple, guess I’d stay away from this. I can understand that face packs dont add a permanent radiance but atleast they should temporary show some effect on skin. what is the point otherwise.

  5. :thanks: dimpi!! saved my money…
