My experience with GUD Pearanormal Activity Natural Nourishing Shampoo:

When I went for my grocery shopping, I was browsing the beauty aisle as always. And my L’Occitane Repair Shampoo was almost getting over as well. Thought I would pick up a shampoo as a back up before I order the L’Occitane Shampoo again.

In Target there are many varieties of GUD shampoo and conditioner. Since it was made by Burt’s Bee’s, I readily picked a shampoo and conditioner to try. I picked the GUD – Pearanormal Activity Natural Nourishing Shampoo, which contains pear and acai berry. But unfortunately Pearanormal Acitivity conditioner was out of stock so picked a different conditioner to go with it. I usually don’t like mixing up fragrances.

This shampoo comes in a hard plastic bottle with a flip cap. Though the cap is tight enough to protect any product leakage, I don’t see myself traveling with this due to its bulky package. The product comes out easily through the flip cap.

I love the delicious fruity smell. I don’t know how the acai berry would smell, but the final product smell is sooo yummy, the good part is, the smell lingers on the hair for couple of days after wash.

The shampoo is clear and not very runny in consistency. It lathers ok, if I haven’t oiled my hair. In case if I had oiled my hair, I need more shampoo to produce enough lather and remove oil completely from hair. It got used up pretty fast for me.

This shampoo left my hair very clean and fresh smelling. After washing off I followed up with the GUD conditioner which I will review soon and found that my hair was not moisturized enough. The ends were kind of feeling dry. The hair was not very dry when I used it with my L’Occitane Repair Conditioner. So this shampoo neither makes my hair dry nor adds moisture to it.

This did not dry out my scalp nor made it oily until my next wash (3-4 days). Also, it did not introduce any new hair fall. I wanted to love this shampoo, but overall this was just an average shampoo for my dry hair.

Pros of GUD Pearanormal Activity Natural Nourishing Shampoo:

• Leaves hair super clean
• Smells wonderfully fresh and fruity which lingers for couple of days.
• Adds a bit of shine to my otherwise dull hair
• Does not contain parabens, phthalates or petrolatum.

Cons of GUD Pearanormal Activity Natural Nourishing Shampoo:

• Not moisturizing enough for my dry hair.
• Got used up very fast

Final word: I would say that this is just an ordinary shampoo and did not do wonders to my dry hair. If you have normal hair and looking for a paraben free shampoo, do give this a try just for the way it smells.
