L.A. Colors Black Auto Eye Liner Review

Today I’ll be reviewing yet another black eye pencil. Let’s see how it fares.

My Experience with L.A. Colors Black Auto Eye Liner:

Packaging: This pencil is no other than our regular kajal pencils. It is encased in black plastic and has silver details printed over the body. The cap fits nicely. The pencil is of the retractable type. It is safe enough to travel with. I like how sleek and slender the pencil is.

Colour: This one is a lighter shade of black and lacks intensity if you swatch it just once. You need to build it up to your liking. It is buildable up to 5-6 layers. After that you won’t notice any difference in the intensity. So I’d say it has low to medium pigmentation. But still it isn’t that jet black colour even after all the building up.

Texture: The texture of this eye pencil is really soft and smooth. I really love the texture, but what I don’t like is that it smudges a bit on the waterline. It is bearable if you want to use it for a few hours, but if you intend to wear this for longer hours, it might not be a good option.

Staying Power: It stays on the lids for 4 hours but just after 15 mins, it starts to smudge on the lower lash line. You do need to clean the lash line you need to touch it up every 3 hours or so. It starts to fade after 3-3.5 hours.
