After one of my recent articles, Dia wanted to see swatches of L’oreal Paris Khol Mineral Eyeliner powder No. 02 Stellar Grey / Gris Astral, so here are the swatches :
With flash :
This product has been reviewed before here on IMBB, but here’s a mini-one-paragraph take on it from my side :
This product can be used as an eyeliner (by holding the brush straight), or as an eyeshadow (by holding the brush at an angle). The brush itself is an angled brush. The mineral khol powder is very, very fine indeed and there is a bit of fallout. However, I think it’s a great product for grey smokey eyes. I’m not sure if it can be used on the waterline due to the fallout, which might irritate the eyes. But I love the colour.
Got myself recently some L’oreal skin care products; got 2 items from their new Hydra Fresh range, as I wanted to be a bit gentle on my skin for a change, rather than continuously using mattifying skin care stuff and also since now it’s winter time, and my skin is behaving itself a bit as far as oiliness goes, so decided to be nice to it!
The L’oreal Paris Hydrafresh Instant Freshness Foaming Gel (priced at Rs. 249/-) and the L’oreal Paris Hydrafresh Instant Freshness Toning Water (priced at Rs. 349/-). I am just loving the freshness of these products and will be reviewing them soon.
And do have a look at the cute pink bag I got as a gift from L’oreal Paris :
Now for some fun nail art. I visited the salon a few days ago and while I was waiting for my highlights to be done, decided to have some nail art done. There are lots of parties and Christmas functions coming up this week, so thought it would be nice to have this done. The black nail polish used was Orly Liquid Vinyl. Small white flowers with a tiny yellow dot in the middle. ( For some strange reason best known to myself, I had previously cut my nails real short last week, but anyway!!)
‘Tis the season to be jolly’, so I wish all of you a great week ahead.
Also, just in case I don’t get a chance to do another post before Christmas (sooooooooo much to be done, and so little time!), I wish all of you a very Merry Christmas. (Will show pics of our Christmas decorations at home when I finish putting them up).
