MAC again in demand – Today’s hero is WOODWINKED eyeshadow by MAC

Hello beauties at IMBB ,

So here I am again in front of you and actually in front of you . Awww … I know am not good good looking but who cares? Actually I do care and aahh! please pour in some suggestions. I know I am not good at dieting but please do pour in some golden words for that. 🙂

You all would admit with me that after posting comments here we come again and again to check what others have written . The time we spent in reading an article is less then compared to what time we spend in reading comments .. right?

So now onwards do make it a point to write short post and long comments :):):)

I am just joking.

Like all of us, I too have this habit of reading others comments and yes peeping here and there. So EK DIN KI BAAT HAI — I was going through our appne IMBBians comments and got to know about WOODWINKED being popular in demand.So I thought what better way to start and come off in front of you with your beloved … in case you don’t like me atleast you will appreciate WOODWINKED right??

So here is my look. It’s really simple and you know LESS IS MORE – Hey I am not talking about my weight … It is the makeup, honey.

Products used – Makeup stuff used Face –

  • Washed my face with – Himalaya neem face wash and let the water dry itself.
  • Applied Ponds Tinted Moisturser in # 2 ( horrible SA wanted to sell me # 1 saying madam you are fair. I said thanks and walked away with # 2)
  • No concealers this time honeys. Please suggest is it okay or should I have used one ? I actually don’t use much so wasn’t comfortable with it..

Eyes –

  • MAC Paintpot in Painterely ( love u janu for ever and ever)
  • Applied MAC WOODWINKED eyeshadow on eye lids with MAC’s 239 brush ( darling you are THE HERO today)
  • Applied soft brown eyeshadow by MAC on crease with MAC’s 217 brush – its a matte light brown to tone down the shimmer in crease ( a must have)
  • Applied MAC Shroom as brow highlighter with MAC’s 239 brush ( although its not much visible but I used it honestly
  • Applied black gel eyeliner by l’oreal with E.L.F. studio tools eyeliner brush
  • Waterline- I applied – NW25-30 MAC chromagraphic pencil ( this one is to die for , its THE only stuff which hubby praised during recent purchase)
  • Finished with MAC’s Zoomlash mascara ( it is on the verge of dying so sorry for creepy lashes honey …Anybody want to send me a new mascara please note down my no)

Cheeks –

  • Ambering Rose blush by MAC (this one is for you Rati)
  • And then on face I used MAC’s blot pressed powder to keep oilyness at bay

Lips-

  • Forever nude lipliner by chambor ( really nice and only one I use these days)
  • MAC’s lipglass in NYMPHETTE ( its my HG lipgloss , if u ever find me in person you are most likely to spot this . I i love it love it and love it)

And here is finished look for you guys . If you guys didn’t like the overall look, atlease praise MAC woodwinked for the much deserved love .

  2. You look lovely rashmi 🙂 you know what I liked the look of Mac Nymphette and other day I was watching a youtube vid and the talented emily was doing this dupe list and she showed a affordable dupe for Mac nymphette ,which looked exactly like it.

          2. HD that’s some Milani lip gloss. But what i realized was that the closest dupe to MAC angel’s lipstick is the maybelline color sensational in pink petal. For the pictures, I found it to be the closest. Will check out the shade once I am at the store…

            1. Now I really need to compare pink petal with maybelline moisture extreme desert bloom….I loved pink petal…hv kept in mind for my future buy 😉

    Don’t take this the wrong way, but maybe you could try plucking the middle part between your eyebrows? It would really bring out your eyes. 🙂

            1 empty pan – 400/- (approx)

            u have to make ur own quad darling

            buy woodwinked and other 3 colors to go with that

              1. HD quad is always cheaper i think u didnt get me…
                okay if u buy 4 e/s they will be 900/- rs each so 3600/- total

                if u make ur quad it will be around 3200/- rs

    May I ask, you’ve obviously got great brows as well… what can be done to groom weird caterpillars above my eyes? Mine used to be thick, but years of threading have done the damage. NOw they grow haphazardly. I’ve not touched them for the last 6 months hoping they’ll grow properly. But they’re not.

    1. you know i have seen a big example of this with a FAMOUS beauty blogger friend …
      u try to use brow filler for more time and then see after u get ur desired shape … use eyeshadow for that i mean for filling
      see ur color match
      i wish luck for u i know its killing

    Another option for a blackliner could be a teal green/burned green, it brings out the green undertone of wookwinked… 😉

  16. I have woodwinked and I use it as an all over lid colour too! :-))

    I would use mac’s teddy kohl or a bronze-y eyeliner. Ooh or maybe olive green :-))

One more thing, I do want to pull your cheeks and do not mind if I pull your cheeks if we ever meet. Why do you need concealer….I do not see any freckles or marks or anything that needs to be concealed on your face….your bare look is soooooooooooooooooo clean….. 🙂

      once there was “daily beauty tips – use castor with eye dropper in ur hair for strength” i ask “is it equal amount of eye drops and castor oil?” and there it was … all were laughing and making fun coz it was use castor oil with eye dropper and not mix …

    one small info pls…could you pls suggest some brow filler…or any eyeshadow to fill in the eyebrow….

    1. i personally hear lots of good words about “ESPRESSO ” e/s by MAC u can actually go to ur nearest mac counter and color match urself any matte e/s or use their brow filler which comes in many shades
