My Experience with Makeup Revolution Pro Curve Contour Foundation Brush:
The brush comes packed in a matte black cardboard packaging that has nice gold detailing on it. The outer packaging is not very beautiful. It bears the product description on it. I have already mentioned in my previous posts that I am trying my hands on contouring these days and this brush is designed for contouring purposes. The brush looks beautiful. The glossy black brush has a pretty rose gold ferrule. The handle is quite long and provides proper grip. The brush looks luxurious and it is very handy. The bristles are made up of synthetic fibers. The hairs are soft and feel so gentle on the skin.
The hairs are of good quality & do not feel any pokey on the skin. The bristles are arranged in a slanted design, which helps to give a perfect contoured finish. This brush does nothing for applying the foundation. It even wipes off the product and does not give an even finish. But, it is great to create a sharp contoured look. It works amazingly with cream based contour products. The curved shape of the brush gives a precise application. It fits the hollow of the cheeks nicely and helps in achieving a smooth chiseled look. It helps is blending the product smoothly.
Apart from the cheeks, it is great to be used on the jaw-line and nose as well. Though, I have used this brush with cream contour products normally but it works equally well with powder products too. Cleansing the brush is very easy. I wash it with a baby shampoo and let it air dry. The bristles retain their usual shape, once it is totally dried. There is no shedding of hair even after multiple washes. Overall, this is surely a good quality contour brush, but the packaging is not too attractive.
