I adore Marks and Spencer beauty products. There are umpteen assortments in every section and not just in perfumes but the fragrances they own in other variants are to die for. Be it shower cream, body lotions, body butter, it’s induced with rich textures, deep scents and lusciously smooth. From basic scents like lavender, Mangolia, strawberry, rose to amalgamation of bloomy- tones, you will find your favourite ones. And today, I am reviewing one of the most delicious body lotions I have ever used – Marks and Spencer Florentyna Body lotion.

My Experience with Marks & Spencer Florentyna Body Lotion:
The nature of the body lotion is easily noticed at the first glance of the product. The 250ml body lotion is packaged in a pale pink tube in floral hues depicting its real essence. By the look of the tube, initially when I sighted this lotion, I assumed that the fragrance would be a mix of roses and jasmine, but the list doesn’t stop here, It has an incredible blend of lily of the valley, orange blossom, jasmine and subtle musk undertones; an astonishing balance of various scents bind together. The lotion is in white shade and the consistency is extremely light. Primarily, you may find it little gooey but it is not. It is so soft that it will sink into your skin in a jiffy.
Marks and Spencer’s Florentyna array is one of the most popular ranges available for its customers. The collection boasts of a wonderful mix of body care products like Eau De Toilette, Eau De Parfum, talcum powder, soaps and many more. The body treats which this range offers is a very safe bet for gifts as its exceedingly easy to the skin. After trying this product, I am tempted to buy the other products as well, which I will do soon.
Oh My God! In case if you have read my previous reviews, you will learn my love towards floral fragrances. Well, in that matter which lady wouldn’t like a touch of florescent tones adoring her senses? Isn’t it? This lotion is bundled in abundant flavours of various flowers and in addition to this; it also has a zing of musk undertones. It smells so fresh as if you have entered a spring garden. The smell is very ‘English’ and usually Marks and Spencer is quite popular for its matured scents, but this is quite chic, modern and urbane. The advantage is that the fragrance is not at all strong, or overpowering or intense. It is quite light but clean, neat and soft and a perfect kick to start the day.
Well, I have overly written about the fragrance and let’s move on to the application. As mentioned above, the consistency is light and soft to the skin. Comparatively, a very little amount of the lotion is required for the body. It moisturises the skin, suitable for all skin types and keeps it nourished throughout the day. You may feel the lotion to be watery, slippery and runny (as seen in the picture), but honestly it is quite deceptive. It is non-greasy and will sink into the layers of your skin quickly leaving your skin soft all the time.
I feel that this lotion is perfect for spring and summer seasons as it feels light on the skin and that’s what I am enjoying right now. In my opinion, I don’t have a thorough idea of how each ingredient would individually smell, but the mixture is splendid. I was quite surprised with the cost of the product. For just 4 pounds, you have an elegant lotion which keeps your skin nourished and wanting for more. So, yes go for this lotion, enjoy the softness, and splurge into the gentle fragrance.
