In my review of Marks & Spencer Lily of The Valley Shower Cream, I told you about this lotion and today I’m going to review the same for you.
However, before you read the review, here’s some trivia.
Lily of the Valley, is a poisonous woodland flowering plant native throughout the cool temperate Northern Hemisphere in Asia, Europe and in the southern Appalachian Mountains in the United States. The flower is also known as Our Lady’s tears or Mary’s tears from Christian legends that it sprang from the weeping of the Virgin Mary during the crucifixion. Other etiologies its coming into being from Eve’s tears after she was driven with Adam from the Garden of Eden.
Well that’s something!

My experience with Marks & Spencer Lily of The Valley Hand & Body Lotion:
I have been using this hand & body lotion for a week now and I must say I like it.This comes in a plastic bottle with a pump dispenser which makes it very hygienic to use. As obvious from its name the most dominant fragrance in this body lotion is of Lily and if you like the fragrance of lilies in general then you will like this. The fragrance is subtle and not overpowering, nothing that a sensitive nose will not be able to bear.
The color of this lotion is pale cream and the texture is perfect for a lotion, it is neither too runny nor too creamy. It spreads evenly on application and gets absorbed quickly.I have sensitive and dry skin and this one has not let me down. It keeps my dry skin well hydrated throughout the day. It’s the perfect pick for the season as we don’t really need heavy body butters as the summers are just round the corner.
Pros of Marks & Spencer Lily of The Valley Hand & Body Lotion:
• Mild & soothing fragrance.
• Hygienic pump dispenser.
• Not greasy.
• Inexpensive when compared to other brands like TBS.
• BUAV approved.
Cons of Marks & Spencer Lily of The Valley Hand & Body Lotion:
• Contains Parabens.
• Not travel friendly.
• Availability might be an issue for some.

Will I repurchase Marks & Spencer Lily of The Valley Hand & Body Lotion?
No, I will not. The only reason for not buying this again would be the fact that there are so many other variants available. I’d better check them out. After all, variety is the spice of life, isn’t it?
