MUA Eye Define Felt Liner Review

Hello IMBB readers!

Felt tip eyeliners are my absolute favourite liners for numerous reasons – they are the only option I can easily work with for a neat application. I am awful with eyeliner brushes, wobbly with liquid eyeliners, and not content with most of the pencil eyeliners. Today’s product on the review bench is MUA Eye Define Felt Liner. Read on for more details of this liner:

My Take on MUA Eye Define Felt Liner:

MUA Eye Define Felt Liner has a simple packaging. The black pen has minimal labelling and comes without a cardboard box. The cap shuts tightly and prevents the liner from drying up too quickly. It is travel safe too.
MUA Eye Define Felt Liner is a water-based felt tip eyeliner with castor oil, so I utilise it for upper eyelid application only and avoid applying it on the water line.
Felt tip liner details

The tip is not flexible and the application always gives me thin and precise lines. I will say that this product has been rightly named as “eye define felt liner” because it adds a nice and simple definition to the eyes for every day use and helps create casual looks without adding any drama to the eyes. The application is easy and the product glides on easily without any tug. One single swipe deposits intense black but thin line onto the eyelids, which can be further defined with a few more swipes.
Swatch on hands

The tip of the liner is super fine and produces thin lines for faultless flicks. The shade is also nicely pigmented, but it’s not ebony black. It dries fast and settles to a glazy finish. MUA Eye Define Felt Liner is not a waterproof eyeliner. It survives water splashes, but will come off with rubbing or with a use of a cleanser. It doesn’t flake off, but the shine fades after 4 hours in hot weather. The overall wear time is 5-6 hours, but reapplication is not tedious. This liner is safe for sensitive eyes and does not cause watery eyes. This one is also a smudge-proof eyeliner.

MUA Luxe Eye Define Felt Liner is formulated without parabens. With such an affordable price tag, the liner does stay moist for a lot of months without drying out, and that makes it a great deal, coming from a drugstore brand.

Would I Recommend/Repurchase MUA Eye Define Felt Liner?
Yes, I definitely recommend this liner, but will not repurchase it because the felt tip creates fine lines, which I am not a fan of. I don’t like thick eyeliners, but MUA Eye Define Felt Liner creates thin lines which require two swipes and for a person like me, it ultimately results in an imperfect eyeliner look. I would recommend it confidently because when you look at the price tag and compare the quality with other liners, this one is amazingly good.
