NYC Ultra Last Lipwear – Snow Cone

Hello everyone.

Today I am about to review a lip colour which I hate applying. I am a gloss person and rarely prefer to apply lipstick. For me lipsticks are only for rare occasions and not for regular use. But I had this shade in my kitty, so thought of sharing it with you. It from NYC ULTRA LAST LIPWEAR named snow cone.

My take on the NYC Ultra Last Lipwear – Snow Cone:

I am not a person who regularly wears lips shade so whichever I have in the lip colours, they are selected and tested. Talking of this shade, which is pink in colour, is not for me. I guess it for the very fair beauties that can carry any lip shade with ease. Though the lip wear in itself is great and true to its claims of easy application, silky texture, but still I did not like it. The swatch as you can see in the picture is bright in colour. But the faulty part associated with the shade is that, it settles very easily in the fine lines of the lips. Take a look at the image of my lips. You would easily notice the fault. Coming to its moisturisation part, yes it keeps your lips hydrated and soft. Staying power is not too good. If have a habit of munching now and then, you would lose the colour soon off the lips. But if you can sit and just concentrate on your work, it will be with for 4hrs. After that it will start wearing off. If you sip a glass of water with lip shade on the lips, yes it will transfer on the glass. Texture is super soft and it has a bit of shimmer in it. All in all it is an average lip shade where the cons and the pros are equally in competition with each other.

What I liked about NYC Ultra Last Lipwear – Snow Cone:

• Super soft texture
• Ease of application
• Moisturising capability
• Optimum amount of shine it imparts
• Inexpensive

pink lips

What I disliked about NYC Ultra Last Lipwear – Snow Cone:

• Settles in the fine lines of the lips
• Shade isn’t too appealing to me
• Packaging it very simple
• Because of the soft texture, there are the chances that bullet would break.
• Would suit only the fair beauties and not the Indian wheatish tone.

Would I recommend NYC Ultra Last Lipwear – Snow Cone:

If you want to give it a try, go ahead. At a price of mere 2 dollars it is worth a steal. You can also give a try to other shades available and see what it comes out with. Do share your experience and let me know you liked it or not.

I have a similar shade from Loreal & I find it difficult to carry but also find it quite classy & different. I do attempt to wear it at times :)
