NYX Blush in Silky Rose Review

My favorite kind of blushes are matte blushes that blend easily and the NYX blush in Silky Rose is no exception. The texture and color are so easy to work with and easily blendable. Though, I have to be careful with how much product I apply because it is very pigmented. Lighter-skinned girls have to be careful!

Product Description:

Our pressed powder blush delivers sheer, silky color that glides on, blends beautifully and creates a natural glow. The formula is richly-pigmented and lasts for hours.

  • Highly pigmented, silky powder blush that combines rich color with long-lasting wear.
  • Signature quilting assists with smooth transfer and product application.
  • Delivers a healthy, natural looking glow to the skin.

Rose blush 2

Directions To Use:

Use a blush brush to apply color to the apples of the cheeks, carefully blending upward and outward toward the hairline.

My Experience with NYX Blush in Silky Rose:

The color is a matte pinkish plum shade. When applied with the right kind of blush, it can give a nice natural glow without any added sparkle or glitters. This color is definitely buildable for a not so natural blush look. I do recommend applying this with a light hand because the color is highly pigmented and you can go overboard like I did when I first applied this.

Rose blush 3

The texture is very smooth, hence the name “Silky” Rose and the color blends very easily. The staying power is excellent, it lasts me all day. Other than applying it to the apples of my cheeks, I also like to apply it in the hollow of my cheeks as well.  It gives my face a much defined look.

Rose Blush 4

Pros of NYX Blush in Silky Rose:

  • Easily blendable.
  • Smooth texture.
  • Great staying power.
  • Beautiful color.

Cons of NYX Blush in Silky Rose:

  • Can be too bright if not applied properly.

IMBB Rating:

4.5/5

I do recommend this and I will buy it again once I run out.
