Rimmel London had recently launched a new lipstick range “The Only One” lipsticks. A few shades from this range have been already reviewed on IMBB (One of a Kind, You’re All Mine, Listen Up, Cheeky Coral) and today, I am reviewing the shade “Best of the Best.” Well, with a name like that, Rimmel is surely raising the expectations of its customers. Read on to find out if this shade delivers on the expectations or not.

My Experience with Rimmel London Best of the Best The Only One Lipstick:
Packaging: This lipstick comes in a black plastic case with a slightly pointy architectural design. The cap has the Rimmel logo engraved on it. There is a colored band near the base which matches the actual shade of the product. The cap shuts tight with no chances of opening accidentally. There is a sticker on the bottom with the name of the lipstick. The packaging is simple yet effective.
Shade/Pigmentation: “Best of the Best” is a gorgeous cherry red shade. This is a beautiful shade which will suit a wide range of skin tones. All red lipstick lovers will surely enjoy this shade.
This lipstick is quite strongly pigmented and it deposits a whole lot of color in a single swipe.
Texture/Finish/Staying Power: This lipstick has a creamy texture and is quite soft. It glides smoothly on the lips with no tug at all. The lipstick feels quite comfortable to wear. It is moisturizing and does not dry out the lips during its entire wear time. However, the downside of such a creamy texture is that the lipstick will likely melt in hot weather.
The finish of this lipstick is a gorgeous glossy crème. The lipstick has a very strong fruity smell which is quite overpowering. I personally do not like the smell at all. The good part is that the fragrance does not last for too long and fades away in about half an hour.
Since this is a creamy lipstick, it does transfer, but it fades evenly and lasts for around 5-6 hours depending upon what I am eating. Even though this is a bright shade, I did not notice any feathering or migrating.
Overall, apart from the strong fragrance, I am pretty impressed with the lipstick.

I would recommend all to try out this beautiful red shade. I will not repurchase the exact same shade, I do have some other shades from this range.
